RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - bob22222 - 06 Jun 2026 19681 36978 are both sitting at the back of sunderland depot RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - TransitObserver - 06 Jun 2026 (06 Jun 2026, 2:55 pm)BusEnthusiast.com wrote Thank the lord. They were horrid things. I agree, horrible buses! The only things I know of are 7 more Yutongs and I believe (not guaranteed just what I’ve heard) the 61 plate E200’s 36468-36476 are next out the door. Sadly that will probably be it for the foreseeable future as Stagecoach will not invest in Slatyford depot anymore until they know what is happening with the franchising. RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - Brampton Trev - 07 Jun 2026 I was at the Metro Centre on 30th May and using the footbridge to the railway station and saw 27723 in the new dark blue with a beach ball roof. Is that normal? RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - BusEnthusiast.com - 07 Jun 2026 (06 Jun 2026, 7:35 pm)TransitObserver wrote I agree, horrible buses! If true,i will be sad those e200s will go.theyre lovely buses(bar a 1 or 2),and are 10x better than the 373**’s imo.I do still wish that they’d eradicate any 373**s instead as they currently are in a state. Is that normal? Yeah that’s normal as about every single bus repainted will keep its original roof bc stagecoach just can never be bothered to paint the roof RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - F114TML - 07 Jun 2026 (07 Jun 2026, 11:47 am)Brampton Trev wrote I was at the Metro Centre on 30th May and using the footbridge to the railway station and saw 27723 in the new dark blue with a beach ball roof. Is that normal? Yeah they don't paint the rooves, partly health and safety and partly the cost. Rubbish! I was there when they were new and we had an outstation at MAN at one point there was that many there… often 3 or 4 away for work. RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - stagecoachfan - 10 Jun 2026 Ex London Enviro200 driver trainer 36358 now at Stockton. Probably not long left for the ALX300. RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - Glen1974 - 10 Jun 2026 Can just ask why stagecoach stockton depot use a ex E200 at stockton depot if all the buses are electric buses? Can use ex electric bus from why? Does it matter?, a bus is a bus, and i suspect you probably already know the answer anyway RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - Glen1974 - 10 Jun 2026 Ok mate RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - Nerd4321 - 11 Jun 2026 71/72/72A/87 getting electric buses & some timetable changes Read more https://www.stagecoachbus.com/promos-and-offers/north-east/newcastle-services-71-72-and-87 Changes would come into affect on the 30th August They propose to reroute the services in Newcastle as well. All mentioned in the document RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - Teessider2014 - 11 Jun 2026 (10 Jun 2026, 6:28 pm)stagecoachfan wrote Ex London Enviro200 driver trainer 36358 now at Stockton. Probably not long left for the ALX300. 22075 has suffered major multiple electric failures. Engineering unable to source parts. Looks like it’s done! RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - TransitObserver - 12 Jun 2026 (11 Jun 2026, 9:20 pm)Nerd4321 wrote 71/72/72A/87 getting electric buses & some timetable changes Interesting. Makes sense putting the EV’s on as 30/31/36 only require 15 out of the 18 buses. I think it also makes sense running the 71 off in the evening and making the 87 run late and no 71 on Sunday but making the 87 run as it gives people more access to Newbiggin hall and westerhope since the 7 no longer runs on an evening. I think they should bring the 7 back in my opinion though. 37313 has re-entered service today for the first time since December 1st 2025 following its engine replacement. 37301 looks to follow soon (maybe via repaint) as that’s also out of the workshop having had its new engine fitted. RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - V514DFT - 12 Jun 2026 I dont know why Stagecoach dont send the 7 back through but terminate it at West Denton Shops on an evening RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - Rapidsnap - 12 Jun 2026 Yutong E12s numbers 73116/17/18/19 are unaccounted for, they were stored at Corby alongside 73120/73121 which have arrived up here recently and now in service. Wonder if those 4 are going to follow them up. I’d imagine one 72 will still be integrated with a scholar service so will still need a decker so the 87, 71 and other 72 would be EV so only need 3. Wonder if those 4 are going to follow them up. I would like to think so. Sunderland have 5 of Slatyford’s Yutongs which will go back soon. Slatyford will also need 2 more and Sunderland will need buses to replace the ones going back to Slatyford. I can see other buses coming from somewhere as there’s only 4 Yutongs unaccounted for and Sunderland will need 5 and Slatyford 2 so see what they do. RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - Busesinnewcastle - 12 Jun 2026 (03 Jun 2026, 6:51 am)ITransitObserver wrote The news that Arriva are planning to close their Redcar depot and move everything to either Whitby or Stockton is sad news but it’s also got me thinking I’m surprised Stagecoach have never done it to South Shields or Hartlepool. Surely these 2 depots make the least amount of money in the North East and could easily have services ran from either Sunderland or Stockton. U still have TikTok I added u then your account must of got banned? RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - TransitObserver - 13 Jun 2026 Apparently 2 of Slatyford’s 61 plate E200’s have gone down to either Stockton or Hartlepool. 36469 and 36470. I would imagine Hartlepool unsure if they’re transfers or being stored awaiting disposal. If they’re transfers I can see the rest heading down once the rest of the Yutongs come to Slatyford. We don’t need anymore knackered buses getting sent here thanks, we need decent ones ( a couple of more deckers wouldn’t harm either). RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - F114TML - 16 Jun 2026 Looks like they're starting to remove the gas plant at Sunderland. RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - morritt89 - 16 Jun 2026 Can anyone confirm if it is true that one of the Gas Buses have been preserved? RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - V514DFT - 16 Jun 2026 No idea, but, anyone know the staus on the bus inolved with the house a few month back, also realised when it re-enters service, its front end will be younger than the rest of the bus, like its predecessor that was deroofed at Walkergate RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - Busesinnewcastle - 16 Jun 2026 (16 Jun 2026, 4:52 pm)V514DFT wrote No idea, but, anyone know the staus on the bus inolved with the house a few month back, also realised when it re-enters service, its front end will be younger than the rest of the bus, like its predecessor that was deroofed at Walkergate Yes it’s somewhere getting fixed can’t remember what it’s called where it is. But it won’t be re entering service for a long time yet RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - TransitObserver - 16 Jun 2026 (16 Jun 2026, 3:30 pm)Busesinnewcastle wrote 10649 at walkergate and 11721 is at Slatyford anyone know why? I had 11721 on the 62/63 earlier was a nice drive and change from our older MMC’s. Not sure why they swapped around just to be changed back this afternoon but I’m not complaining! RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News - Malarkey - 17 Jun 2026 10652 (SN16 OZR) is in the new Stagecoach Pride Livery. Either the photo has brought the colours out wrong or someone has really fucked up the progress flag there. The colours are all wrong, even known the original is better anyway but that's another thread. Either that, or somewhere along Ponteland Road between Blakelaw Road and Etal Lane. Only places I can think of. |
