RE: Stagecoach North East: Rare and odd workings - Michael - 10 Jul 2014 (10 Jul 2014, 3:58 pm)Dan wrote Dennis Trident 2/Alexander Enviro 400 19197 is presumably on the Economic services today, given that I've just seen it running light out of Sunderland on Newcastle Road in front of another E2 which was in service. Hasnt being a ALX300 on the 23 for ages RE: Stagecoach North East: Rare and odd workings - Dan - 10 Jul 2014 (10 Jul 2014, 4:05 pm)AIG20 wrote All of the "E" services are running late again today and suffering from cancellations (as seen in the SNE twitter page). However, are 22214/5, 22664 and 22672 still in service at Sunderland? I haven't seen them, but I haven't had a chance to see many buses apart from the ones which go to Seaburn! Given the amount of gas buses VOR as I noted in the Latest thread, I'd imagine they will be seeing use. RE: Stagecoach North East: Rare and odd workings - Andy - 10 Jul 2014 27740 was on the x34's today RE: Stagecoach North East: Rare and odd workings - Acky81 - 10 Jul 2014 (10 Jul 2014, 4:10 pm)Dan wrote I haven't seen them, but I haven't had a chance to see many buses apart from the ones which go to Seaburn! All still operating in Sunderland for now RE: Stagecoach North East: Rare and odd workings - Simmy - 11 Jul 2014 (11 Jul 2014, 10:30 am)AIG20 wrote An unbranded ADL E300 has just left the Marsden Inn on the X34 (11:20). Said E300 must have only done 1 trip as all 3 E400s are now back on the service. RE: Stagecoach North East: Rare and odd workings - Dan - 11 Jul 2014 At least two Pointer 2 Darts on service 4 in Sunderland today. RE: Stagecoach North East: Rare and odd workings - Simmy - 11 Jul 2014 Forgot to mention, a Pointer was on the 10/11/30s in Shields earlier. RE: Stagecoach North East: Rare and odd workings - Kuyoyo - 12 Jul 2014 24108 on the 52 Re: RE: Stagecoach North East: Rare and odd workings - mrnut85 - 12 Jul 2014 (11 Jul 2014, 5:00 pm)AIG20 wrote It's a long, long time since I have seen a Pointer Dart on the 10/11/30.The 35XXX can operate the full 30 route but on the 10/11 they can't go past Low Simonside to Jarrow RE: Stagecoach North East: Rare and odd workings - Dan - 12 Jul 2014 As it was a topic of discussion the other day... 22673 is on service 12 today, in place of a 220xx series example. RE: Stagecoach North East: Rare and odd workings - Dan - 12 Jul 2014 22214 on service 4, 22672 on 12 Re: RE: Stagecoach North East: Rare and odd workings - mrnut85 - 12 Jul 2014 (12 Jul 2014, 10:00 am)AIG20 wrote Why can't the Pointer Darts go beyond Low Simonside? It's due to the contract, they must be an E200 ADL/MAN or E300 ADL RE: Stagecoach North East: Rare and odd workings - tyresmoke - 12 Jul 2014 E300 24111 appeared on service 12 this afternoon in Middlesbrough. It stayed out until the last E1 of the evening to South Shields. RE: Stagecoach North East: Rare and odd workings - Kuyoyo - 13 Jul 2014 22211 making a very rare appearance on 36s today. Thats odd, should be spare gas buses around at this time of the night! Every few Sundays it does seem that the gas buses have a day off, with everything being operated by E200s instead. 'Tis rather strange, unless SNE have a specific date each month in which they give the gas buses a 28-day test. ![]() ![]() RE: Stagecoach North East: Rare and odd workings - Michael - 14 Jul 2014 (14 Jul 2014, 8:19 am)Dan wrote And on a Sunday too! They might do, least then they can get small problems fixed on the Sunday (if they can) Re: RE: Stagecoach North East: Rare and odd workings - mrnut85 - 14 Jul 2014 (14 Jul 2014, 8:44 am)Michael wrote They might do, least then they can get small problems fixed on the Sunday (if they can)Stagecoach operate a 21 day system for docking buses RE: Stagecoach North East: Rare and odd workings - Dan - 14 Jul 2014 E200 36462 on service X34 today - currently at Boldon ASDA. RE: Stagecoach North East: Rare and odd workings - Kuyoyo - 14 Jul 2014 (14 Jul 2014, 4:08 pm)Roland Pratt wrote Stockton seem to be using the 22011-20 batch on the 38 a lot lately rather than the older MANs. And? That brings it in-line with the 36 and 37 in having the newer members of the fleet. Anyway...... 36 had 22014/5/7 allocated, 22017 on one of the all-day boards. Likewise, 17028 has spend the day on the all-day 58 board and 17026 on the short 52 board (starts 9am, finishes just after 6pm). 24112 meanwhile ended up on the 13 as a changeover replacing 22668.
