Well it won't be Paul Daniels. RE: Arriva North East: Latest News and Discussion - April 2016 - Cock Robin - 02 Apr 2016 (01 Apr 2016, 9:45 pm)Dans_bus_photos wrote So! Whats posting it on here going to do about it? Touchy subject?? RE: Arriva North East: Latest News and Discussion - April 2016 - Cock Robin - 02 Apr 2016 (01 Apr 2016, 10:18 pm)South Tyne Lad wrote Not exactly, There's 2 GNE Employees on this forums who work on Destination Displays etc, Weave reported a lot of problems on different vehicles to them and they have dealt with it. But then you can't do that if you are banned, as most people who have raised an issue are. Excuse me..? Could you elaborate on that one? Nobody has been banned for reporting faults on this forum regarding destination displays, if that is what you are suggesting. I know that much man Thank you anyway though (02 Apr 2016, 10:35 am)Dan wrote I'd imagine the legal lettering on this bus hasn't been altered, hence the need to declare it 'on loan' somewhere on the bus. Ah, makes sense Guessing 7485 had it's lettering changed immediately then RE: Arriva North East: Latest News and Discussion - April 2016 - Cock Robin - 02 Apr 2016 (02 Apr 2016, 11:58 am)Dan wrote Excuse me..? Could you elaborate on that one? I thought he meant the Arriva facebook page! RE: Arriva North East: Latest News and Discussion - April 2016 - PH - BQA - 02 Apr 2016 For a 16 year old bus, 7474 really shifts. Briefly followed it and it had no issue reaching 60. The power sockets must be powering the turbocharger - it drained my battery from my battery charger and iPad! Haha, I know 7522-33 can shift, I was just pretty surprised when I realised just how old 7474 was, especially taking into account it spent majority of it's life in London! One thing, have they delimited that batch of E400's, sure I saw a sticker on 7524(?) saying it was limited to 100km/h? (Less than 65mph) Although I'm sure I've been on them when they've been doing similar speeds to what you've reported there, as they've been keeping up with/overtaking cars. I think the Euro 5 E400s are limited to 62mph, though can still make to 65 easily. RE: Arriva North East: Latest News and Discussion - April 2016 - biglugs@yahoo.com - 02 Apr 2016 Does any one know how much a Blyth day ticket is? And if 1771 is still in use? Got 65 out of 7534 the other day. Most of the DLAs will struggle up to around 50, and these VLAs from London are sadly limited at 48mph RE: Arriva North East: Latest News and Discussion - April 2016 - South Tyne Lad - 02 Apr 2016 (02 Apr 2016, 5:21 pm)tyresmoke wrote Got 65 out of 7534 the other day. Can they not change the lint on the VLAs to a higher speed? Just to follow on from this, the legal lettering on 7485 hasn't been altered, as seen here, and there's no visible 'on loan' sign. What are the potential consequences of not changing the legal lettering, and not declaring it as on loan? It was mentioned way back that if the address (Doxford Int Business Park) is the same then its fine? The legal address for Northumbria and Durham County is Doxford Park (hence why the Northumbria legals are still there). The legal address for Yorkshire is Wakefield (hence why there is a on hire sign in the window of 1808). EDIT: Just realised that 7485 is at Selby and doesn't carry Yorkshire legals or on hire signs lol RE: Arriva North East: Latest News and Discussion - April 2016 - tyresmoke - 02 Apr 2016 (02 Apr 2016, 7:24 pm)mb134 wrote Gathering that Selby may be a bit like Redcar of old? So the B9TL's should be in perfect condition Not that I'd expect a B9 to be in a bad way anyway to be honest! Must be pretty good if they keep those VDL's going!
