As now, the Newcastle vehicles will be allocated onto the late running boards but obviously will be more concentrated to other services (i.e. not 39/40).

Providing what gets retained, deckers remaining in Newcastle across depots will be 193xxs upwards (with the exception of the Seasiders), and these which should be able to undergo similar emission work if and when needed. 

The current Clean Air Plan for Newcastle looks set for 2021 so still time for further orders, cascades and trials of Euro modifications for Newcastle.
