Yes, it's definitely best to drive there (and in fact anywhere!) but I'm a bus enthusiast, can't drive and don't want to! Team Valley is not the best place to work, but it's a decent temporary job! RE: Team Valley buses - Ds1197 - 02 Nov 2020 I can't drive I checked the times at lobby hill 97 22:09 93 22:13 1A 22:29 X70 22:32 RE: Team Valley buses - Economic505 - 02 Nov 2020 Team Valley back in mid 2000s was an arse to get too. I m a bus enthusiast too, but pragmatic when it comes to ease of journey/ driving, especially if it’s pre 8am. Hope you manage to get there . So many rail lines nearby. If only the Metro could be extended., RE: Team Valley buses - OrangeArrow49 - 03 Nov 2020 (02 Nov 2020, 9:55 pm)Ds1197 wrote I can't drive I checked the times at lobby hill Earlsway to Lobley Hill Road is about 10 minutes to walk. If you want to get home quickly (I assume you do finishing at 10pm) Lobley Hill Road is your best option as you've got 4 services from there and only the 93/94 at Kingsway North (which is also 10 minutes or so to walk anyway). The 97 at 22:09, you'd probably not catch unless you finish at exactly 10pm and run! You'd just catch the 93. If you finish after 10pm you'd be waiting for the 1A or X70 or the next 97/93 whenever they are due. Are you getting the 94 to work? Hope you enjoy your temporary job. RE: Team Valley buses - XUP254F - 03 Nov 2020 If you are at the Sainsbury's end of the TVTE another option could be the 28A from outside Sainsbury's and goes to Newcastle Eldon Sq, via Gateshead Metro, drawback is it's only hourly. Another option if using the 94 would be to do this to the Durham Rd and then the frequent 21 to either Gateshead Metro or Newcastle itself. When going home I would check one of the live bus trackers / live departure times to decide which route to choose e.g. the GNE App or Bustimes.org. e.g 93 vs 94. The trackers should also allow you to weigh up the option stated above of changing from the 93 onto the 53 at Bensham Court Flats when on the move.
