Does anyone have a list of the routes ran by Calvary Coaches as well? I’ve got timetables for 294, 297, and Waterside in the TWPTE guides.

For a period in the early 90s, they ran an hourly service which competed with the 194. 
If I remember right, it was numbered the 13. It was scheduled to pick up outside Biddick and St Roberts dead on kicking out time. 
Wear Buses as it was at the time, whacked an Optare Metrorider in front of it as a spoiler 194.

I'm sure the shortlived Barnwell to Newcastle 191 was the legacy.

Can't remember if it finished at Penshaw or Houghton. But didn't go all the way to Easington Lane. 

Often ran with a dual-door mk1 National though!

Redby used the Wearside bus company name as there said that when Northern split the depots to independent brands like Wear Buses it was too similar to there Wearside bus company brand.

Wearside bus company started to run services again  in front of Wear buses with the 42/26 etc… with some journeys running the full length for through travel between silksworth and pennywell.

However, I have nothing down about the 26? Was it a carbon copy of the 126 or did it extend to Washington?

Inspired by seeing this photo of a VR on the 183 to Rickleton, I wondered if any timetables existed for it? Or what it's route was.

I cannot remember the 183 as anything other than a Washington - Metrocentre service (other than the odd run to/from Sunderland).

The location of the photo isn't too obvious either. Concord?

Can you remember the old timetable books that were produced to purchase prior to 1986.  If you bought the whole North East version with all operators it used to be between 300 and 500 pages thick.

I wonder how many pages this book would be if produced today, due to most services being amalgamated into just two or three (i.e. 24,25,26,27,28,709,721, 722, 723, 724, 725, 726, 727, 728, 733) all being merged into just 21,22, 28,28B
