In short, she gets the Scarborough bus instead of the winning route to Whitby and complains about sharing a bus with people and the bus stopping at bus stops?!

You right, public control isn’t always better. However, as we’ve had bus deregulation outside of London since 1986, and considering look how bad buses are in the evening's. Time for a new approach, perhaps like the London model.

A slightly rubbish, poorly researched story. The villages quoted all have populations under 1000 and all have a generally two-hourly service from 0700-1900 with extras at the peaks. Almost certainly better service than comparable areas in England.
