WCM are starting to run a "hail and ride" service which will connect parts of west bank and stewarts avenue with Widnes town centre and the Hive. The service will be a hourly service and will run between 9:30am and 2:30pm on a six month trial basis. It will use red "shoppa hoppa" branded rohill harrier Y403 GKJ. The price for adults is £1.50 and 50p for children

Wright Cadet 2551 is on the 15 Along with Plaxton Pointer 2's 2231 and 2237
Daf Cadet Y20 BLU was on the 10B
Wright Renown 2719 was on the 18 today
Wright Renown 2718 was on the 12/13 today with no front Panel!!

Well lets start with the big news first, There is 2 Wright Eclipses in overall White sat in the Depot looking like they are getting ready for service, i was able to ID one that being SF08 ROH, the other was just to far way to ID but i cant wait to get these in Service!
I can also confirm that there is Wright Renowns on the road here, 4 are on Loan from Rock Ferry to cover high VOR's them being, 21117, 21120,21121 and 21122, They was all on the 17/19 and i was able to ride 3 of them 21117 needs a new gearbox, 21121 is a cracking Bus and 21122 smells really bad of Wee!
Chester Based Dart 34604 is still here and is on the 17/19, apparently it could remain here full time but am sure we will find out soon!
Onto odd allocations:
MAN Enviro 24127 was on the 10C (Bus is 14 branded)
Alexander Pointer darts 34743, 34791 and 34618 where all on the 20/21 services (Normally MAN Enviros)
An un ID Dennis Trident was on the 17/19 having replaced a Dart at some Point!

SF08 ROH is a MAN A22/Wright Meridian owned by Ferrymill Motors of Torrance which is used frequently by Stagecoach's Scotland fleet when vehicles are away for repairs.

Cheers that makes sense. The remaining 11 should be North East bound... They are the 11 outlined on the ANE thread. The rest of the batch of 50 have gone to North West and Southern Counties.

Having had further thoughts about the 12, I feel it should run in the opposite direction round Ravenhead Retails Park in order to use the stop outside Currys. Also I feel it should run Morrisons - Town Centre - Ravenhead Retail Park, so that both sides have a straight/direct run to the Town Centre.
