The Streetlite does look pretty awful having not been repainted. Hopefully something will be sorted soon?

It does look a bit strange with the white paint completely standing out of the Nexus livery. I think they will be repainting it soon, hopefully.

With the airshow next week will Gct use deckers on the 558 as theyve used lt02zzd on a normal day on it but for 515 trips swapped for a bluebird

As the 515 and 558 interwork on a Saturday, double deckers can't really be used if looking at it from a practical point of view, as Black Lane bridge would mean buses would have to be swapped at Heworth every time, or an extra bus (or two) would have to be added in to the PVR. Also, I can't see the Sunday 558 from the Cotswolds Estate actually being that busy, even on the Airshow weekend! I'm not saying never, but I can't see it happening.

SL16 YPE appears to have been in an accident, has nice plain front bumper & light cluster (Door Side) which makes the vehicle look a right mess.
No photos of it as I was on the X1 when I seen it.

Nexus would need to request and pay for a larger vehicle by contract variation so unlikely.
The 558 will terminate at Seaburn Camp on 23 & 24 July with normal arrival and departure times planned.

And yet again Gct are very annoying the 592 was allocated a 57 plate white van complete with the bus coming at 16 : 34 at Thompson park asda 7 minutes early.

Some vehicles at GCT are allocated on a route specific basis due to the local based advertising that is on display. In the main Solo's have South Tyneside or Washington area advertising and will therefore be allocated as such. Some Bluebirds often have advertising specific to R services.
You might see an odd allocation again today as two of the Fiats have been at Iveco North East in Blaydon.

Are we going to get daily updates on whether the 592 is on time or not, as quite frankly I think most people on here don't care if the 592 is on time or if the vehicle allocated to it is a Relaint Robin.

I suppose the posts about vans being allocated to the service is noteworthy. We have entire sub-forums dedicated to it, for the big three operators.
