Good grief, that's a huge reduction! I hadn't realised just how bad they'd got.
It would be worth looking at Arriva and Stagecoach fleet sizes as well, as I suspect that they have all reduced.

Imagine if they had 700 buses these days, the about of VOR they would have due to the obvious lack of mechanics.

Does anyone know what happened to the Volvo B5LH Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 buses after they left GNE?
I know that 6064 was sent to EYMS after being converted to diesel, but the others seem to have disappeared. I've noticed that GNW has started repainting former Brighton & Hove B5LH buses into their livery, and there were rumors that some of the GNE buses might have gone there as well.

Most of them are still at GNE at Consett and Hexham depot

All of GNE B5LHs are heading to East Yorkshire, but are having their Hybrid system removed before they enter service. So they probably be drip fed into service with EYMS.
