The operations manager at Sunderland suggested otherwise...
The work was due to be completed by the end of August, and we did indeed have one Sunday in September whereby gas buses were allocated, but I believe there have been a few more issues with the gas coming from the main supply. This is why there has been ongoing gas work going on outside of the depot, adjacent to the gas bus refuelling facilities within the depot itself.
