I was on a late running service of the 18 towards Four Land ends, and a Enviro 400 turned up, does this often happen, or does it run off another service, I remember years ago it was always a single decker due to a low bridge in Wallsend, but I believe since then the route has been slightly altered to serve Stotts road rather than the estate nearby.

Don't think it's common, but does happen every now and again.

The driveshaft is literally torn in two I dont know if the engine or gearbox seized to cause it
