If 19644 had still been away, then there would have still been a need for 34401 to be used as a spare.
I know for a FACT it was prepared for service and was available for use in service while 19644 was away but as I have previously said, 19644 has returned so there is no longer a need for the extra spare.

39731 has an annoying buzzing noise.. driver has radio'd the depot and is still waiting for them to see if they need to replace it... that was ages ago.

As can be seen at the top of the page, 22210 is Awaiting Disposal (collection by the scrapman) as it has suffered an Engine failure according to the Busways Fleet Card.

on 15/12 'Stagecoachbusdepot' replied (on the unusual workings thread in answer to my query) "22211 has been off the road for a good while, 22210 being withdrawn more recently. Both currently parked up at Slatyford along with similar 22666/67/75. "

Along with GNE - Stagecoach are also effected by the closure of the Queen Alexandra bridge:
Sun Ops to an incident on the queen alexandra bridge service 11 will be diverted via hylton road for the time being
Sun Ops due to an RTA on the queen alexandra bridge service 18s will divert via wearmouth bridge to southwick sorry for any inconvenience
I would imagine the 19 is the same?
