RE: New StreetDecks & ADL Enviro400s - X-lines fleet changes - Dan - 12 Jul 2020 (12 Jul 2020, 5:33 pm)streetdeckfan wrote What's the current PVR of the X45/6/7? X47 & X70/X71 have a PVR of 9. X31 & X45/X46 have a PVR of 13. X30 has a PVR of 4. Martijn has indicated the plan would be to interwork services X30/1 and X70/1 (using ADL Enviro400), so it's not comparable at the moment and the revised interworking patterns won't come into effect immediately anyway due to the current situation. RE: New StreetDecks & ADL Enviro400s - X-lines fleet changes - streetdeckfan - 12 Jul 2020 (12 Jul 2020, 5:49 pm)Dan wrote X47 & X70/X71 have a PVR of 9. So will the new vehicles arrive branded for where they are intended to end up, or will there be some rebranding later down the line once things are a bit more normal? RE: New StreetDecks & ADL Enviro400s - X-lines fleet changes - Michael - 12 Jul 2020 (12 Jul 2020, 5:25 pm)Dan wrote The memo has now done the rounds in other groups, so we might as well share its contents here too. Thanks for sharing the information Dan, appreciate it. Alright, i would like to say, my predictions was wrong about all the E400 going to Consett. Remember there's going to be 2 - 4 Enviro's free at Consett aswell depending how many spares you want at Hexham. The X84/X85 has a PVR of 5 it doesn't need 9 buses. RE: New StreetDecks & ADL Enviro400s - X-lines fleet changes - L469 YVK - 12 Jul 2020 The X84 & X85 is certainly an interesting move though. When not required on Sundays (if no plans for Sunday X84/X85 service), will the E400MMCs be allocated to Sunday Tyne Valley Ten boards which start & finish the day at Hexham? RE: New StreetDecks & ADL Enviro400s - X-lines fleet changes - Stanleyone - 12 Jul 2020 (12 Jul 2020, 4:52 pm)Michael wrote Does Stanleyone work for GNE?, if so fair enough, he was right, and i'll change my order around later but if not then.. he/she is like the rest of us... guessimg at this point.I do. RE: New StreetDecks & ADL Enviro400s - X-lines fleet changes - Michael - 12 Jul 2020 Looks like the X21 might lose 6 of their Streetdecks to the X45/X46/X47 along with 1 more to take spare role at Consett? then that leaves the 8th one from the X21 in to a spare role at Chester? B5's go on the X21 + 6334 as the extra one + 6335 (B5) as the spare? ---------------------------- 6336 becomes the extra bus on the X84/X85 + 6337 spare at Hexham? RE: New StreetDecks & ADL Enviro400s - X-lines fleet changes - streetdeckfan - 12 Jul 2020 (12 Jul 2020, 8:30 pm)Michael wrote Looks like the X21 might lose 6 of their Streetdecks to the X45/X46/X47 along with 1 more to take spare role at Consett? then that leaves the 8th one from the X21 in to a spare role at Chester? I suppose they could take 6302-7 leaving 6301 as a spare for CLS, that would leave 6331-3 for the X21, plus some of the B5s to make up the PVR and a spare. If that were to happen, they would all have matching interiors again! I'm surprised there's not just 14 new StreetDecks going on the X1, with one of the corporate StreetDecks being used as the spare RE: New StreetDecks & ADL Enviro400s - X-lines fleet changes - Michael - 12 Jul 2020 (12 Jul 2020, 8:57 pm)streetdeckfan wrote I suppose they could take 6302-7 leaving 6301 as a spare for CLS, that would leave 6331-3 for the X21, plus some of the B5s to make up the PVR and a spare. The PVR is 8 for X21, so i would think it would be the 7 B5's from the X9/X10 and 6334 allocated and have 6335 as the spare... think Go North East moved away from mixed allocations a while back. Same about the X1 but i wonder if the Streetdeck arriving will be be in Go North East colours? I'd guess it'd probably be either Generic Xlines or a branded spare as there's no other X-Lines routes at Washington RE: New StreetDecks & ADL Enviro400s - X-lines fleet changes - JP6004 - 12 Jul 2020 (12 Jul 2020, 9:06 pm)Michael wrote The PVR is 8 for X21, so i would think it would be the 7 B5's from the X9/X10 and 6334 allocated and have 6335 as the spare... think Go North East moved away from mixed allocations a while back. The original statement last year was all buses would be in Xlines livery. If they do need swapping about when they get here, least it's just the rear end to do RE: New StreetDecks & ADL Enviro400s - X-lines fleet changes - L469 YVK - 12 Jul 2020 I don't know how an interworking pattern is going to be formed for the Consett E400 routes? Could the X30 interwork with the X70 & X71 (PVR 8) with the X31 instead being extended to Consett hourly (PVR 4)? I've tried all sorts of combinations and driving hours would be tipping 5+ hours. Not ideal if any traffic. X70/X71 & X30 interworking and X31 stand alone. Pvr 12 with 2 spares. With citaros it will be cheaper than paying £50 each time to enter newcastle. Also believe MG said Citaro very fuel thirsty. But also it GNE can offer contracts with euro 6 buses, might help make their offer more attractive in future contracts RE: New StreetDecks & ADL Enviro400s - X-lines fleet changes - Michael - 12 Jul 2020 (12 Jul 2020, 9:44 pm)JP6004 wrote True but I'm sure they have had contact with suppliers to rearrange.... Omnis probs be with withdrawn from other cascades RE: New StreetDecks & ADL Enviro400s - X-lines fleet changes - streetdeckfan - 12 Jul 2020 (12 Jul 2020, 10:02 pm)JP6004 wrote Yea I'd imagine a few will be withdrawn. RE: New StreetDecks & ADL Enviro400s - X-lines fleet changes - WestDurhamSwift - 13 Jul 2020 Speaking of XLINES At what point did 6336 received that huge GO NORTH EAST logo above the destination, looks very out of place. Noticed the Dennis logo on 6336 is where the GO NORTH EAST logo would usually be placed, 6337 has the logo in between the lights. Offside destination, yes. Front double-depth destination, no. RE: New StreetDecks & ADL Enviro400s - X-lines fleet changes - streetdeckfan - 13 Jul 2020 Also, just noticed whilst having a little stalk of Dan's Flickr that there are more photos of the StreetDeck interiors, I personally hate the new 'burgundy' colour of the plastics, but it's great to see that they've still got 240v sockets at the tables! Having the stop button at the tables is an excellent idea, something that should have been put on the E400s as at the minute you have to invade someone's space to push the button, or walk to the front to push the one 'real' button. ![]() (13 Jul 2020, 12:34 pm)Dan wrote Offside destination, yes. Aah, right. Can they be retrofitted to the current StreetDecks if they wanted or is it a thing that has to be done at the factory? It already looks quite dark in the photo (although that could just be Dan's photography skills ![]() |
