RE: General TV thread - Andreos1 - 16 Feb 2014

I was having a flick through the channels before and came across an old episode of Celebrity Squares.

There was a fella on (who won and may still even be driving about in his 1995 Vauxhall Cabrolet) who was from Newcastle - his job? Data Controller for 'the metro' and he stated he distributed the shares of revenue amongst the bus operators.

I don't know what the best bit is there. His job, or the fact he won a VW Cabrolet. Absolute beasts they were back in the day.

Aye, the mk1 Golf was a good un, but he won a Vauxhall :p.

On a separate note, did anyone see Top Gear?
They ended up in Chernobyl.

Wish they could have shown more of the place.
It looked fascinating.

I never switch the telly on in my room these days! Sits and gathers dust!

Surprised nobody mentioned it on Facebook either mind, unless I've just totally ignored the posts!

Watched all three now though.

RE: General TV thread - Dan - 18 Feb 2014

Anyone watch Benefits Britain: The Live Debate?

Got it on now and it's quite a good debate.

RE: General TV thread - Dan - 21 Feb 2014

A new series of "Impractical Jokers UK" is back on BBC Three at 10pm on Monday... Has anyone seen Series 1?

Going back over clips of Series 1, I remember why I love it so much...

Me sorted for tonight!

Latest episode of Top Gear to catch up on first though.

RE: General TV thread - Chris - 25 Feb 2014

Latest episode of Top Gear to catch up on first though.

I used to enjoy it when it was about cars. Clarkson, Hammond & Haircut 100 do my tits in now though.

Had a catch up on what we've recorded and 'Babylon' was quite good. No idea when it was on like. The opening sequence certainly caught the wifes attention!

Anyone see the final episode of 'The Routemasters' where the guy was kicked though the window of the bus? Horrific.

Shocked to hear BBC Three could be getting axed... Wonder if the cost of the TV License will be cut down too...? Angel

I don't really know where his info came from! It seems like a load of people jumped in the bandwagon, I haven't seen any official source even hinting it's to be axed.

In other tv news, yet another ITV Breakfast line up. BBC/Strictly star Susanna Reid, Sky Sports & former GMTV Ben Shepherd join Sky sunrise Charlotte Hawkins & Sky's Sean Fletcher on a new morning show, Good Morning Britain which is to replace Daybreak already in its fourth presenter line up now in as many years.

BBC News have covered the story more than once...

Was also a Tweet by BBC Three last night:

#SaveBBC3 is currently trending on Twitter. Even on a quick Google of 'BBC Three', there are tonnes of headlines about it..! Don't know how you could have missed it!

I overheard someone say this on the bus.
