Leeds Bramley will also gain additional electrics at the same time - 25 Electroliners, likely to see off the last of the depot's B9TLs. RE: Yorkshire Bus Operations - citaro5284 - 02 Jan 2024 (02 Jan 2024, 8:42 pm)Unber43 wrote Go North East 6064 has apparently been transferred to East Yorkshire. Why not? It has a diesel engine in, it was put in by them and they might need an extra vehicle RE: Yorkshire Bus Operations - Unber43 - 02 Jan 2024 (02 Jan 2024, 8:52 pm)citaro5284 wrote Why not?Yeah a diesel engine, but its also a bus which is on the road for a couple months (if you're lucky) then is off the road for 4 months RE: Yorkshire Bus Operations - citaro5284 - 02 Jan 2024 (02 Jan 2024, 8:54 pm)Unber43 wrote Yeah a diesel engine, but its also a bus which is on the road for a couple months (if you're lucky) then is off the road for 4 months They know the history of it, and if they want to take it, then thats their choice RE: Yorkshire Bus Operations - Andreos1 - 26 Jan 2024 Hearing stories that First have purchased York Pullman. Disappointing to see another independent go, if it's true. RE: Yorkshire Bus Operations - Storx - 26 Jan 2024 (26 Jan 2024, 9:08 pm)Andreos1 wrote Hearing stories that First have purchased York Pullman. Seems it has, it's in Route One - https://www.route-one.net/news/york-pullman-bus-company-agrees-sale-to-firstgroup/ Wonder how many times a company has bought the same company over twice, it's not something that happens everyday. Probably a lesson why you don't sell a name to someone which has value. Believe they've sold some E200MMC's that age recently through Ensign. Supposedly on the West Yorkshire forum they've been spotted at St Helens. Credit to Warrington mind they've got a decent little fleet after investing in a pretty much whole new fleet. RE: Yorkshire Bus Operations - davao123 - 18 Jan 2025 3 enviro 200s have turned up at Arriva Selby SN16 OSA SN16 OSB YY15 NHU I imagine these will be replacement for the MCV Evolutions, as they are non standard in the fleet. Apparently it was tempos 1308 last day today if this is true, it means all tempos are now withdrawn RE: Yorkshire Bus Operations - Andreos1 - 24 Jan 2025 Can't remember this being mentioned anywhere on here. GAG have launched Go West Yorkshire. One route on launch: The 571. Operating between Halifax and Shelf. RE: Yorkshire Bus Operations - davao123 - 26 Jan 2025 Some of the YJ58 AY E400s are going to Thurmaston depot while 72 plate e400mmcs are coming to Yorkshire, with some arrived already. I believe the E400s will only be in Leicester for a short while before the electrics arrive RE: Yorkshire Bus Operations - Storx - 26 Jan 2025 (26 Jan 2025, 2:55 pm)davao123 wrote Some of the YJ58 AY E400s are going to Thurmaston depot while 72 plate e400mmcs are coming to Yorkshire, with some arrived already. It's a shame they couldn't send 4 of them to Whitby and sort out the X93/X94 problems for good with the B9's heading elsewhere since they're not fit for purpose there, where I'll let someone else decide but not North of the Tyne since they're not Euro 6. Durham wouldn't be a bad shout though to get shot of 7424/7510-2/14-17 as they're all finished after being rattled on the Berwick expresses for years. RE: Yorkshire Bus Operations - davao123 - 07 Feb 2025 AY E200 1063 YJ09 CVB withdrawn, not been with yorkshire for that long after it came back from Durham 1061 potentially withdrawn as well. Selby E200 RE: Yorkshire Bus Operations - davao123 - 12 Feb 2025 5 more E400MMCs from Leicester due at Heckmondwike this weekend, to replace 5 B7RLEs, plans have changed, as Hecky have capacity issues with singles. All YJ58 e400s are now in Leicester and the 10 72 plates are all now in service RE: Yorkshire Bus Operations - davao123 - 16 Feb 2025 Arriva E400MMCs 4545 and 4546 from Leicester now arrived at Hecky, will be numbered 1988 and 1989 in Yorkshire fleet. Both in Sapphire livery RE: Yorkshire Bus Operations - L469 YVK - 16 Feb 2025 (26 Jan 2025, 3:23 pm)Storx wrote It's a shame they couldn't send 4 of them to Whitby and sort out the X93/X94 problems for good with the B9's heading elsewhere since they're not fit for purpose there, where I'll let someone else decide but not North of the Tyne since they're not Euro 6. The B9TLs wouldn't be too bad North of Tyne if converted to Euro 6. 306/308 would be absolutely fine for them. GNE are still running 6043-48 on the 47 not forgetting some fairly challenging twists & climbs, despute the fact they were hammered on the X9/X10 and 10/10A/10B. If Arriva had've kept the 35 standalone from the X21, that would've been another fine route. RE: Yorkshire Bus Operations - davao123 - 07 Mar 2025 2 EX Warrington E200MMCs have entered service now at Wakefield 1079 MH18 XLD 1082 MH18 XLJ Citaro trainer has turned up at Castleford T09 - BJ12 YPT E200s 1057 and 1062 (former ANE 1329), B7RLEs 1101 and 1109, Commander 2578 and Pulsar 1440 formerly (ANW 3017) are all been withdrawn and on the disposal sheet. |
