That wouldn't be the same roundabout that operators started using when Green Terrace was made one-way? Part of the improvements operators were in favour of, that was supposed to reduce congestion and delays?
Amazing.
Imagine mixing buses from Green Terrace with existing traffic and thinking delays would be reduced...
Just amazed it has taken so long for someone to make changes to a service.

I think so, seems a odd move as the uni would only be served towards Hastings Hill.
Also route change in Southwick but i can't work out which way it'll go?
Will it still go down the bus gate next to the green?

Stagecoach comfirmed to me in an email, the next major changes for Stagecoach Sunderland is the start of September.
I asked about the changes for July but got this answer:
Dear Michael,
Sorry for the delayed response to your enquiry earlier in the week.
There are no changes planned in Sunderland for July. The next set of significant changes will be from Sunday 2nd September.
We have to register these changes 6 weeks in advance of that date (so in mid July), so at this stage I cannot confirm exactly what will be happening then.
Thanks for your patience and don't hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions.

One of the rumours for changes include the 18 heading over the Northern Spire bridge and through Hylton Retail Park, then back on to normal route at the Southwick gatory system.
Having done some research on the VOSA site, looks like changes have started to appear for 2nd September, all services have Variation changes expect for the 8 and X24, which haven't appeared..... we can't look in to much as all the routes seem to be starting and leaving from their current places...

No doubt that will allow some vehicles to be released. 39709 can go to Shields allowing 35188 to be Withdrawn and 34605, 35189 Withdrawn at Sunderland. With the 4, 8 and 18 they Probaly see the allocation of 36081 - 36094. I can't see anything else being released from Sunderland.

Ye, would get rid of the darts and some of the older Enviro's at Sunderland, would also give more spare gas buses, but if it was me, i would put them on the X24 to replace the Omnilinks....

I hope they don't drop the services to every 12 minutes, although the only current routes they'd be able to do that with is the 4,16,20,23

Ye, it would drop the PVR for the gas routes by around 4, meaning they'll be 9 spare gas buses in total, but put 3 on the X24 and that'll take it down to 6 spare, 1 more than now.
I hope the services don't drop PVR but with all the cuts in Stagecoach at the min, it could happen.

You can search by Operator (e.g. Cleveland Transit) or view all for a region (e.g. NE) on a day to day basis, the latter being much more useful as the new .GOV system they have isn't all that advanced compared to it's predecessor.

With the 12 being withdrawn from Fisher Street, I would imagine it will operate along Waverdale Avenue.
Would certainly help the 40 during school peak hours around Walker Tech.

Sounds like a decent idea, hopefully advertised well. Though murmurings in the general Hartlepool community are that the Grand Central service has been particularly poor recently.

Since the Class 43's were replaced really.
Although they do seem to be ensuring the Sunderland runs are given priority and out of both, it is the Bradford services which are cancelled.
