RE: Redcar depot - Storx - 16 Oct 2025 (15 Oct 2025, 9:08 pm)Kuyoyo wrote Because, I’m lead to believe, the Redcar batch of ex-North West Pulsars weren’t registered for use in the Newcastle CAZ at the time of this move (and may still not be - I’m not 100% certain). Indeed, 1372 (as has only been discovered since they arrived from Liverpool) is the only one of the 30 that hasn’t had the Euro6 modifications, hence why it spent a day or two at Stockton and was then quickly swapped for 1374. Thanks for that, had a feeling it might have been some technicality for the move. Interesting for 1372, wonder if they knew about it in Merseyside or whether they were breaking their contracts down there for years. Believe anything subsidised in the city has to be E6 and newer than 10 year old. It's a shame the North East don't do the same to force certain operators to get arid of their junk, as most of the decent independents wouldn't be affected by it. RE: Redcar depot - Andreos1 - 05 Jan 2026 https://www.facebook.com/share/1ASdVXyuZ2/ Some cracking photos of an X93 ploughing up the hills on the A171 between Whitby and Scarborough from today. Not quite as impressive as the Temsa on Saltburn Bank, but the fella in the Merc, who got stuck presumably didn't thumb a lift from the decker. RE: Redcar depot - Ryland - 05 Jan 2026 7580 is now back at redcar and was on the 62 today RE: Redcar depot - Rockstar666 - 06 Jan 2026 1430 on 62 tracking as SP RR RE: Redcar depot - ReDemPTiion - 07 Jan 2026 Any truth in Redcar and Stockton depots getting new ADL E200MMC’s to replace the Pulsar 2’s? RE: Redcar depot - Superman - 07 Jan 2026 There are some E200 MMCs due in the summer yes, earmarked for Teesside. 6 cylinder ones, so useful for almost everything. RE: Redcar depot - Arriva7446 - 07 Jan 2026 ooh 6 cylinder those are the proper epic ones, better than the 4.5l 4 cylinder. Nice one. Hope they get one on the X12 |
