I can't remember - it was at the start of the Major Line Closure Metro Replacements (Aug '13) when it was sent to Jesmond and has been in a plain sort of plum/maroon base livery ever since - minus the upper front window which carries the logo still. RE: Arriva North East - Latest - JoshP - 06 Apr 2014 With these 'Max' services, is it just the seats and wifi on the busses getting upgraded or will there be some sort of new livery or sub-branding? RE: Arriva North East - Latest - robisdave15 - 07 Apr 2014 What's matter with the springs on Whitbys E400 7502 ? Be a hoot going to Scarborough on it. RE: Arriva North East - Latest - Dan - 07 Apr 2014 Former Classic Coaches T313FGN has been repainted into Arriva's corporate livery - see here. VDL Geminis 7616/7617 are on loan to Ashington for use on the X18, while ADL E400s 7517/7518 have gone the other way to Blyth. Also in use at Ashington is Volvo B7 7494 and others are believed to be in their care... Possibly getting Thorntons/Diagtest out to look at them! As for the Max buses, they will indeed be in a new livery which looks similar to Sapphire but I believe the colours are swapped and slightly different shades. They will be similar to the "big in Wakefield" livery being spread around various groups this week. Internally it should just be leather seats and wi-fi, nothing more. Any rough idea to the planned month for launch or is that under wraps? That livery is this: RE: Arriva North East - Latest - JoshP - 08 Apr 2014 (08 Apr 2014, 7:30 pm)Kuyoyo wrote That livery is this: That is a nice livery in my opinion! Will certain omni cities have sub branding for X66, X26/X27 or will they just be 'Max' branded and shared across the services? Will certain omni cities have sub branding for X66, X26/X27 or will they just be 'Max' branded and shared across the services? I'm not sure to be honest. I'm guessing they would keep them all under one name but you never know, they may brand them for their respective services with an unbranded spare? Either way it looks like the majority of the Scanias will end up at Darlington. RE: Arriva North East - Latest - JoshP - 08 Apr 2014 (08 Apr 2014, 7:41 pm)tyresmoke wrote I'm not sure to be honest. I anticipate their arrival, even though I'm not a fan of Omni Cities. I know it's a bit soon but is there any updates on the Temsa transfer locations yet? RE: Arriva North East - Latest - JoshP - 08 Apr 2014 Just an odd thinking moment from me here, but does anyone else feel that soon enough, all services in the Arriva name will be under some sort of branding? I.e. The spread of Sapphire, the introduction of 'Max' for express services, Park and Ride liveries, Training Liveries, Cross River liveries and the 'Eco' green liveried services... Is the common Arriva branding eventually going to disappear in years to come to be replaced by 'branded' services? I see this as a nationwide initiative rather than just the north east. Just a thought! For example they could introduce separate liveries for town services and longer distance services etc. RE: Arriva North East - Latest - VolvoMarkII - 08 Apr 2014 (08 Apr 2014, 8:31 pm)peter wrote I suppose it's quite possible. It will be expanded again next year too, so chances are they'll include the 685?? Not too many more routes it could be applied to really. RE: Arriva North East - Latest - Adrian - 08 Apr 2014 So MAX is essentially the old 'Go Xpress'? RE: Arriva North East - Latest - Davey Bowyer - 08 Apr 2014 What about this colour scheme?
