So would that be deemed to be a rare working, I have only ever noticed Solos and MPDs on the 21/21A thanks for clearing that up, 2 things crossed my mind when I saw it, either the driver was very or it was a practical demonstration of a Malarkey Marathon in action...I love you really Adam, my friend [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND TIGHTLY-CLOSED EYES] RE: Arriva North East - Rare and Odd Workings - Jimmi - 22 Jul 2014 (22 Jul 2014, 11:36 am)marxistafozzski wrote So would that be deemed to be a rare working, I have only ever noticed Solos and MPDs on the 21/21A Yes it is an odd working. 21 uses Solos and the 21A is usually a Prestige. RE: Arriva North East - Rare and Odd Workings - Dan - 22 Jul 2014 Well... Poor day for Blyth again today. 7608, which originally started out on the X10/X11 this morning, was on the 308 this evening. 7624, departing soon after, was on the Quorum Express. Jesmond seemed a bit off too. Had a white Solo on the 51, a Solo on the 306, an ALX400 on the 306, and an ALX300 worked the X85 this evening (does this run off the 306? If so, there's another one). Had a few others too, but it's so hard to photograph things in Newcastle after about 4-5pm. Obviously, these are just a few examples of odd workings spotted within a 15-20 minute window. You can expect there was actually a lot more in reality. No idea, can only imagine that Darlington depot must be short on buses or other buses don't want to work in this heat. [/quote wen i drove past faverdale depot this morning all that was in the yard spare was a sapphire pulsar a solo parked in dead corner a ex classic solo that was parked by the wash. inside was a solo and a pulsar getting worked on RE: Arriva North East - Rare and Odd Workings - John_R - 23 Jul 2014 (23 Jul 2014, 5:25 pm)Dan wrote What's with the Sapphires escaping onto other routes all of a sudden?! There is pretty much always a Sapphire Pulsar spare at Faverdale, so its inevitable one will have to go out on another route if necessary. Presumably a few buses failed with the heat. Also there was X-GGO Dart on the 3/19 this morning RE: Arriva North East - Rare and Odd Workings - John_R - 23 Jul 2014 (23 Jul 2014, 6:06 pm)ross13 wrote [quote='Jimmi' pid='53921' dateline='1406136865'] They were working on the ex Classic Solo when I went past this morning and was gone this afternoon, with a 11 reg Solo parked up in its place |
