Can only assume those as 1760, 1769 and 1791 off the top of my head. Only going by the state and the livery type I would expect it may be these buses as other don't need a repaint RE: Arriva North East: Latest News & Discussion - February 2016 - Michael - 09 Feb 2016 Someones post on Arriva's Facebook: Would you be adding tables to your buses with seats both sides face the table, with WiFi and power sockets with USB,aim for people to do homework and learn new things, maybe, built in computer with full internet to share with everyone on same table, and better seats more like a sofa seat more relaxed area. This could be the new way of learning after school or college or university or even work. Maybe buses could have latest job news and what happening in your area, anything is worth a try for getting more people use buses. I like the idea but its way to much for the company to provide. RE: Arriva North East: Latest News & Discussion - February 2016 - omnicity4659 - 10 Feb 2016 7412 has received Quick Links into Newcastle vinyls. 7525 is still away for accident damage. Arriva North East: Latest News & Discussion - February 2016 - Jimmi - 10 Feb 2016 For some bizarre reason, Darlington's standard liveried Pulsar 1507 is displaying Sapphire on the next stop announcement screen right now on service 5A to Bishop Auckland. Hey jimmi did you see a 5A was running 35 minutes late today? The one I got home from Darlington was only a few minutes late leaving Darlington although it was then 10 or so minutes late once we'd got down North Road. How did it end up running 35 minutes late like? Wasn't a result of all those flaming roadworks in Bishop Auckland was it? Nope it was the 17:40 off Darlington, arrived at Darlington 5 minutes late were 15 mins late by the time it got to north road and then by the time it got to aycliffe it was 35 mins late, was involved in a incident on shafto way like which resulted in a extra 20 minute delay, got to bishop 35 mins late and got told to run it back in service RE: Arriva North East: Latest News & Discussion - February 2016 - aliance - 11 Feb 2016 just noticed that 7478 X434 FGP has moved to jesmond RE: Arriva North East: Latest News & Discussion - February 2016 - omnicity4659 - 11 Feb 2016 (Not my photo, it's been sent to me.) They'll have to have Hanover equipment fitted and new seats before they go anywhere. Don't quote me on it, but I remember reading that the 46 by Belmont is going to MAX specification. Unsure if this was confirmation or speculation. Unsure if this was confirmation or speculation. I've heard that as well, don't know if it's true or not though. If it is true I'm unsure how it would work as the 46 currently interworks with the 48 and it may be tricky having it run standalone, unless you want a bus sat in Durham for over 10 minutes or decrease the frequency back down to half hourly. RE: Arriva North East: Latest News & Discussion - February 2016 - Stuartphin1639 - 11 Feb 2016 4812's next stop announcement is working all stops to peterlee and Sunderland RE: Arriva North East: Latest News & Discussion - February 2016 - Michael - 11 Feb 2016 Arriva North East Service update: unfortunately we have again suffered a broken window in the birchington Avenue area of grangetown. Regrettably we are suspending our 64a from that area..the service will terminate at whale hill roundabout for the rest if this evening.we shall review the situation tomorrow to decide if we will reinstate the service.we apologise for the inconvenience. That and the fact the 64a finishes early anyway in terms of evening runs (the last inbound departure from Grangetown leaves around now at 2106, last outbound is 2135). There's also still the 22 via the Trunk Road to give Grangetown a service (and it runs later). If the company have concerns over that, then they've done the right thing. The buses around mine have had to be taken off Inverness Road because they couldn't get around on an evening, they're running for now however last Saturday the 88 driver said the shouldn't be coming around and last night coming home from school on the 18, the 88 seemed to of got stuck as someone wouldn't move their car but they gave in and the 88 reversed a little bit so the car could move RE: Arriva North East: Latest News & Discussion - February 2016 - Jimmi - 11 Feb 2016 (11 Feb 2016, 9:10 pm)DanPicken wrote The buses around mine have had to be taken off Inverness Road because they couldn't get around on an evening, they're running for now however last Saturday the 88 driver said the shouldn't be coming around and last night coming home from school on the 18, the 88 seemed to of got stuck as someone wouldn't move their car but they gave in and the 88 reversed a little bit so the car could move Some people park in such ridiculous places, the 21 I got home from Sunderland a few weeks back and the driver had a right nightmare trying to get the bus between cars in Trimdon which had parked practically opposite each other, so trying to squeeze an EcoCity through that gap was a nightmare. An even worse case happened somewhere along the 23 route, the JH Coaches Primo had to squeeze though a small gap, with ice on the road! There is also another example on Stagecarriage's Facebook page. RE: Arriva North East: Latest News & Discussion - February 2016 - BusLoverMum - 11 Feb 2016 There's a plonker with a big merc who often parks it right in the way of the 22, as it comes round the corner near the school at pick up time. You'd think he didn't like his car, or something. Not long after we moved to the village, the 22 through that estate ended up being suspended after 6pm because of constant vandalism. Annoying for people who did use it, I'm sure, but you can't expect someone to drive a bus with such a high risk of having a brick coming flying through the window and hurting either them, or their passengers. Scarlet Band have also had some problems over that way: http://www.durhamtimes.co.uk/news/10689536.Yobs_stoning_buses_a_growing_problem___transport_boss/ RE: Arriva North East: Latest News & Discussion - February 2016 - aliance - 12 Feb 2016 4 of those VLA's should be going to ashington to allow 4 ALX400 to jesmond |
