RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2017 - S813 FVK - 09 Aug 2017 I do like the new design, I just hope the arial route numbers remain - looks much better than the auto font. RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2017 - V514DFT - 09 Aug 2017 Tbh i dont like the aerial font RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2017 - R852 PRG - 09 Aug 2017 4945 was sighted in Houghton-le-Spring on Monday morning, route learning a handful of Chester-le-Street drivers on service 36. https://www.flickr.com/photos/142814434@N05/35657673803/in/dateposted-public/ RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2017 - S813 FVK - 09 Aug 2017 (09 Aug 2017, 5:41 pm)R852 PRG wrote 4945 was sighted in Houghton-le-Spring on Monday morning, route learning a handful of Chester-le-Street drivers on service 36. I think I am probably the only one on here who actually cares The same could be said for the feature symbols. 3943 has recently gained the feature symbol to reflect that it has WiFi, although it has also had the NSA symbol added too. Perhaps it could be a sign that it will gain NSAs in the future although that is probably a bit too optimistic given that it is only a spare and 3962/5, which form part of the PVR for the 21, do not have them fitted either. GO NORTH EAST 3943 FCU190 LEAVES DURHAM ON 8 AUGUST 2017 by Ken Weaver, on Flickr RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2017 - Dan - 09 Aug 2017 (09 Aug 2017, 5:54 pm)S813 FVK wrote I think I am probably the only one on here who actually cares The company who apply the vinyls for Go North East are currently working their way through all of the early fleet livery buses which didn't have the yellow cant rail message and feature symbols added whilst at Saltmeadows Road. I think 4932 was completed on Monday, along with a couple of other buses based at Riverside, whilst undertaking repairs on buses missing branding. RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2017 - S813 FVK - 09 Aug 2017 (09 Aug 2017, 6:53 pm)Dan wrote The company who apply the vinyls for Go North East are currently working their way through all of the early fleet livery buses which didn't have the yellow cant rail message and feature symbols added whilst at Saltmeadows Road. I was under the impression that the fleet livery was handled entirely by Go North East themselves? I wouldn't perhaps have expected them to send the fitters of the vinyls from Saltmeadows to each of the depots (which is why I suggested that 4932 could have possibly been there for whatever reason) though. I am hoping 8328's cant rail is repainted black as per the other Versas in fleet livery. Haven't had a look at 5446 yet, but 5442 has regained a 'Durham diamond' logo on the nearside, but has not regained the missing diamond vinyls at the rear. RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2017 - Michael - 09 Aug 2017 Has 639 gone to Deptford yet? RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2017 - S830OFT - 09 Aug 2017 Has the new Mercedes-Benz Minibus gained a Fleet Number as I have seen a few Flickr photos and some photos have 5520 as the Fleet Number and other Flickr Photos have 9095, could someone confirm the accurate fleet number for this vehicle. RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2017 - Dan - 10 Aug 2017 No mix up at all. 5292 will be re-allocated to Deptford as the spare for the X5, with 5284 transferring to Riverside in lieu to be their spare. Shouldn't be long before that one heads off for refurbishment, they seem to be down to the last few Crusader Citaro's.... After 5299 - 5304 come back from refurbishment, will they continue in sequence with 5305 and so on.....only asking because the rest of the batch getting done. (not connections 4) I think the 9 will lose the Citaro's and gain something else, the service to me doesn't warrant them, always empty when i see it, i'm surprised its still running the way it is. Coming close to 60% of the active service fleet. I'd guess a couple more Mercs have been fitted prior to going for refurbishment (suspecting 5298 will be one). The total number of buses with WiFi that I have with those 5 Solos included is 363 (which matches the NEB fleet list when those 5 are added to the last updated total of 358). |
