Were you following Kingsley's 252 in? (05 May 2014, 6:48 pm)Tom wrote Daniel Picken got a few photos of me in Kingsleys 109. I seen you walking around too then, and Dan Picken. RE: North East Bus & Coach Show 2014 - MurdnunoC - 05 May 2014 I've somehow managed to evade being photographed despite walking into many shots. However, I believe Dan has posted a link to a news article in another thread containing a photograph with me in it (I'm in the background!). I will have to check the photos out again, before committing either way. All I will say at this stage is, I could have been driving a car, driving a bus, running past in my athletics gear, sauntering past on a walk of shame or sitting on a bus as a passenger. RE: North East Bus & Coach Show 2014 - Malarkey - 05 May 2014 (05 May 2014, 8:14 pm)Andreos Constantopolous wrote I will have to check the photos out again, before committing either way. If you walked in front of me as I was about to take a photo, I would of let you go past before taking the Photo, as I hate having Photos with others in them to be honest as I feel it makes me look impatient and in a rush, which in I turn I feel takes a lot away from the Photograph itself, more so when it's a group of 3 or 4 people which is what it was like at the Henry Cooper Paramount Yesterday, hence why I didn't get a Photo, but this was because Myself and others were taking interest in the Owners GNE Models/Repainted Models which he was selling for a Bargain £5 each Unboxed. But that's just me and nothing against the person getting in the way, no idea if anyone else feels this way when they are at Bus Rallies, but for the Example above that was the only time I went really close to a Vehicle on Display, otherwise I stood a few yards away taking my Photos to allows others to take Photos also. Here is an example of what I am talking about, obviously here there bloke was clearly taking the mickey while someone was wanting to take a Photo, hopefully it was nobody on NEB I hope https://www.flickr.com/photos/ermintrude73/14113668751/ RE: North East Bus & Coach Show 2014 - Chris - 06 May 2014 I took our eldest (5 years old) and he loved it. Me too! He especially loved the ride on 3833 on the tour through Riverside. He insisted on sitting upstairs right at the back, reckoning that you get a longer ride by sitting at the back. The people from Kingsleys were spot on - the guy (and I presumed his son) were fantastic. He let myself and my Son sit in the cab of the Trident, and even let him toot the horn which he was over the moon with. I don't know anyone on here person, but recognised a few people in the flesh. At some point I wanderered past Messers Cooper, Kuy, Kennedy, Westgarth, Gray, Stanness, Smith & Hunter that I recognised form the world of t'internet and I presume Bazza was the guy in the Sunderland shirt with his name on the back. It's a funny one, I found myself smiling at someone at one point before reminding myself that I don't actually know them, and in reality they're probably wondering who this weirdo is. It was when you were stood on the roundabout that I saw you. Haven't looked at your photos, but I am def in one of aureolins. RE: North East Bus & Coach Show 2014 - gtom - 07 May 2014 It certainly was an interesting day. I only spent a brief hour having a nose around but it was enioyable RE: North East Bus & Coach Show 2014 - Andreos1 - 08 May 2014 (05 May 2014, 7:15 pm)AdamY wrote I've somehow managed to evade being photographed despite walking into many shots. Are you going to tell us which link or are you gonna be as vague as me? RE: North East Bus & Coach Show 2014 - gtom - 09 May 2014 Just realised one of you has caught me you ruffians! I'll send the bill for my image rights in the post RE: North East Bus & Coach Show 2014 - Andreos1 - 09 May 2014 (09 May 2014, 5:37 pm)gtom wrote Just realised one of you has caught me you ruffians! Another one to be rumbled... RE: North East Bus & Coach Show 2014 - Rapidsnap - 09 May 2014 I might have gotten you too, but I probably won't upload my photos for years. Then you might find yourself in an embarressing pose like this bloke from a photo I took at the Seaburn Rally in 2003 that I recently uploaded. Looks like he's doing some sort of Michael Jackson dance. https://www.flickr.com/photos/gjm-photogenic/14126304265/ RE: North East Bus & Coach Show 2014 - R852 PRG - 09 May 2014 (18 Apr 2014, 10:13 pm)Dan wrote I noticed on a number of occasions that GNE buses were left unattended, and indeed I passed comments on... Marcus' Angel friend didn't leave her bus though, and she was sensible when moving the bus too. Had good words to say about her! There was a guy from Percy Main there too if memory serves - played everything by the book and he accompanied everyone around that Cobalt Connect. I know this is almost a month later, but the woman who was in 6070 last year and 5258 this year was Pat Armstrong; probably one of Chester's best drivers in my opinion.
