Thought so. They have Solos and Streetlites, but I thought recently Bluebirds were most likely. I look forward to riding the 32A soon. I don't know what they allocate the Solos, Versas and Streetlites to.

I am surprised GCT has not done any route learning for the 32A.

I see the 335 is being extended to Longbenton and back to the cobalt,is the 336 staying or is it scrapped,anyone know if anything is replacing the K3

Na the 336 will no longer operate as all trips will now serve Asda

Heard from a friend that the driver this morning didnt know where he was going. Ticket machine wasnt programmed for 333 and the driver this afternoon was miserable and got lost.

The driver on the morning pre 11:00 journeys knew the route and all arrivals and departures from the Ferry were on time. Ask your friend if anyone missed their Ferry connection and the answer should be no.

GCT will probably accept them, I’ve seen people use GNE tickets on the 335 before. I don’t think the drivers are bothered aha

GCT only accept what Nexus will allow.

Smartzone was set by Arriva/Stagecoach/Go when nexus was trying to takeover buses in Tyne and Wear. It was done to show that they could offer a value ticket that was an alternative to Network One where customers never use Metro.

If Arriva or Go accept Smartzone on Secured services, then this would be part of their bid, and Nexus have agreed to it.

Stagecoach Dayrider and 1 day VIP are vaild on 18, but not weekly/monthly/annual.

Service 32A doesn't accept any stagecoach tickets, and didn't when it was operated by GNE.

Previously, the bus ran light from TVTE to Jarrow.

Most pointless service?

There is a point for Nexus when they can claim BSOG for the journey from TVTE to Jarrow rather than run dead mileage between those points. The service will benefit workers traveling from Low Fell, Wrekenton and Leam Lane areas getting to employment at Monkton Business Park, Hebburn or Jarrow by means of this direct link rather than changing buses at Gateshead or Heworth.
Monkton Business Park has expanded rapidly over the past year particularly in the South sector to the point that car parking is now a problem so if this service reduces the number of people traveling by car it will help to reduce parking problems.
