RE: 2015/16 Football Season - Michael - 15 May 2016 (15 May 2016, 5:29 pm)Tom wrote I'm honestly not sure, I don't know if the players were playing that well to get themselves on the shop window or to stay at Newcastle. Can't see Sissoko or Wijnaldum staying, or Townsend to be fair. Would like to see the back of Taylor and Colback though. I can see you's trying to cash in due to the wages etc never know though, the players might want to stay I'm hoping we can get rid of some of the deadwood, we have a few players who contracts end soon: Wes Brown Steve Harper Valentin Roberge Ola Toivonen (End of loan) Dame N'Doye (End of loan) Yann M'Vila (End of loan) Want us to sign Yedlin and M'Vila on permanent deals. Surely he is past it too, Yedlin will be a a canny signing though if you can get him, M'Vila hasn't started though has he? Or is that Lens I'm thinking of RE: 2015/16 Football Season - Michael - 15 May 2016 (15 May 2016, 6:00 pm)Tom wrote None of them have really had a chance - What's O'shea like? Quite easy to find.Quite a bit discussion on other forums. Some of it quite harsh. Found it when looking earlier. The way some of the mackems (including the 'proper' one,) were going on, I thought he was a world beater. Haven't rated him at all over the last few seasons. He wasn't like, he would have a good string of games then fade for a few etc... still find it funny when he said: he didn't want battle relegation again......... There will be a good battle between Chelsea and City, both Pep and Conte will want to hit the ground running. If Sunderland start at 5000/1 i may stick a 10er on them [FACE WITH TEARS OF JOY] yeah right, lol... The bottom will interesting next season, with Burnley, Middlesbrough, Bournemouth, Watford, Swansea, Norwich, Sunderland and whoever wins the play-offs all fighting to not be in the relegation fight. The Championship will be good too, with Newcastle, Villa and Norwich, teams like Burton coming up. On paper Newcastle should win it...and Villa should be there or there abouts, but I think Villa will really struggle Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk RE: 2015/16 Football Season - Michael - 16 May 2016 (16 May 2016, 12:29 pm)MrFozz wrote There will be a good battle in the Premiership next season... Terrible decision - I have a feeling Watford won't do as well next season unless they buy a few new players. RE: 2015/16 Football Season - PH - BQA - 21 May 2016 Nobody really knew who Sanchez Flores was a year ago though, and that turned out well for them. Their form wasn't great in the second half of the season. RE: 2015/16 Football Season - Andreos1 - 21 May 2016 I must admit to misreading the surname and when looking at the photo, thinking that he had aged over the years. I was convinced it was Walter Materazzi, former Everton defender and victim on Zidane's head-butt. RE: 2015/16 Football Season - PH - BQA - 21 May 2016 Manchester United have won the FA Cup! A goal in extra time from Jesse Lingard won it for them, after Smalling was sent off. It had finished 1-1 in normal time. Not even an hour after it finished, this was announced: "Man Utd to appoint Mourinho" http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36351371 At least wait a bit until announcing it. Apparently the contract was signed prior to the cup final, pretty disrespectful in my opinion.
