That is the conclusion I came to initially, with the 55X being the replacement for the X6/X7.

Could it not just be omitting the bus station altogether? and just serving Burdon Road/Vine Place and Fawcett Street. Just seems strange for that to be the Sunderland point rather than Park Lane.

Wasn't the X46 listed as a service on those recent changes? There's been that many, I've lost track of them all.
Seems strange the X46 is still going to be running am and pm if they're no longer going to be using Crook mind.

When I looked the other day, it seemed the X25 was stopping and being replaced by a shorter 25 (Chester - Langley Park).
Will the smaller PVR mean the spare drivers are utilised elsewhere?

As I understand it it's the 1A that won't go to Kibblesworth anymore, running to Metrocentre instead to replace the 11.

Only thing I could think for the 1 & 1A with the PVR going to be either 16 or 17 vehicles would the the Coaster getting B9s from the TVT when the new vehicles arrive and the B5LHs either go on a route such as the 58, Blaydon Racers or are moved away to another Go Ahead division.
6084 would remain at Riverside as a spare for the TTX so that would mean 6071-6083 + 3x or 4x of the best ex TTX batch examples getting allocated to the Coaster with the other 2x acting as spares for the Coaster & Cobalt Clipper.

Just some questions to clarify:
11 only running Whitley Bay - Wallsend? The 1 will now serve the Metrocentre and continue to serve Gateshead - Whitley Bay? Thw X25 going to be replaced by the 25, but not serving Newcastle? What is going to replace the X25 in Newcastle? 42A no longer going to serve Kingston Park, terminating at Dinnington and not serving Benton Asda?
