RE: Anything and Everything - MrFozz - 26 Dec 2014 (26 Dec 2014, 9:27 pm)MarcTheA4 wrote Found this pretty moving quote...Thats moving mate... Dont really know what else to say to that RE: Anything and Everything - Tom - 26 Dec 2014 Has anyone ever seen 442oons videos? I think they are great, you should check them out: https://www.youtube.com/user/442oons RE: Anything and Everything - Michael - 27 Dec 2014 I ordered a poster from the BBC from its "Life" program and it came today, basically, the poster is all about animals, its quite good, it was free! RE: Anything and Everything - Andreos1 - 27 Dec 2014 Some of you might not know, but I have bought a controlling stake in a chain of newsagents. One of my first jobs, was to sort out the newspaper boys and girls. The previous owner had worked in the bus industry for a number of years and to be honest, the routes designed by him weren't ideal. Most of the newspaper boys and girls, tended to follow each other, often they set off in twos or threes. More often than not, traffic led to delays. Sometimes, parts of their routes would be missed out by the newspaper boys and girls, meaning customers didn't get the service they had been promised. Often, the newspaper boys and girls would turn back towards the shop, before getting to the end of their route. Again, this meant customers didn't get the level of service that they had been promised.

Bloody hell, not a good day RE: Anything and Everything - MrFozz - 28 Dec 2014 (28 Dec 2014, 11:08 am)Michael wrote Search Under Way For Missing AirAsia PlaneSaw something on the news about this before I went to church this morning, whereabouts did this happen, is it a similar areamto MH370 last march... I pray to god it is found soon... How planes can go missing in this day and age I do not know RE: Anything and Everything - R852 PRG - 28 Dec 2014 Discovered today that my grandad's brother, Peter Pendlington was awarded an MBE when he still alive! RE: Anything and Everything - MrFozz - 29 Dec 2014 (28 Dec 2014, 3:09 pm)MarcTheA4 wrote Discovered today that my grandad's brother, Peter Pendlington was awarded an MBE when he still alive! What for mate? He must have been a pretty decent person to be honoured like that RE: Anything and Everything - Andreos1 - 29 Dec 2014 Quick search of google found this: Peter Pendlington. Higher Executive Officer, Child Benefit Agency, Department of Social Security. (Chester Le Street, Durham)http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/in_depth/uk/2001/birthday_honours_2001/1390899.stm Is this him? RE: Whats made you happy today? - MrFozz - 29 Dec 2014 Not looking good for the Air Asia flight, probably bottom of the ocean now... Was listening to the pilots father talk on the news earlier on... That poor bastard just buried his other son last week and now this... My thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved RE: Anything and Everything - Andreos1 - 29 Dec 2014 Twitter seems to be going mental at the mo, over Virgin vs43, which has an issue with landing gear and is returning to Gatwick. RE: Anything and Everything - R852 PRG - 29 Dec 2014 @Andreos & Fozz - yeah that's him! He died in 2008ish. I just know he was a very rich man, and left just about every blood relative loads of money. My grandad was the oldest of his siblings, in terms of the boys. He had one older sister, Margaret (don't know her birth dates, he didn't really know her), him (1934-2014), Anne (1935-2014), Peter (1936-2008), Mary (1937-2014) and John (1945 - Present) Strange that 3 of them all died in 2014! RE: Anything and Everything - Andreos1 - 30 Dec 2014 Unlike Marcus's Great Uncle, I have yet to be awarded an MBE in the New Years honours list. Despite my efforts with the FPF and local newspaper industry, the Queen has not responded with any recognition. However, like any good socialist - I would have to turn down the award. Just generally useful for me. I get notifications the moment they are posted, I can reply to PMs quickly, and I can look for updates or anything to look out for on the forum as a result of Tapatalk. RE: Anything and Everything - MurdnunoC - 03 Jan 2015 I am a member of a few forums however this is the only one I tend to view on my phone. I may attempt to use it with other forums to assess its usefulness. I may attempt to use it with other forums to assess its usefulness. As Marcus says above, it keeps everything in one place... The sites I am on, RailUK, FMHVibe, Darlo Uncovered to name a few, I can subscribe to threads and when replies occur I get a notification about it, also a notification of any PM I get. It saves me having to trawl through my e-mail constantly and saves me quite a bit time RE: Anything and Everything - MurdnunoC - 03 Jan 2015 You see, on other forums, I tend to be more of a lurker than a contributor these days. Despite the issue with it jumping back to the threads from a year ago (again.. ), it's so much quicker than loading the forum via my phone's browser. Like most of people my age, I tend to flick through all of my Social Media apps quite regularly. I just treat Tapatalk as another Social Media app really, so it means I end up digesting everything that's been posted every hour or so at least. Of course, I get there sooner if I receive a notification to say that someone has quoted a post of mine! RE: Anything and Everything - MrFozz - 04 Jan 2015 (04 Jan 2015, 3:58 pm)Dan wrote I was quite reluctant to use it at first, but regularly do now. So you will be notified of this reply almost instantly I subscribe to threads to keep up, on here I am subscribed to 68 threads, although, only a couple are well used... I also have a problem with it jumping to threads from at least 12 months ago, but I try not let that bother me as I can get to where I need to be pretty quickly RE: Anything and Everything - Jimmi - 04 Jan 2015 I tried the Tapatalk app once before but didn't like it. Decided to try it again this afternoon and it will not let me sign up with whatever username or password I've tried and keeps coming up with something like password security risk another password has been sent to your email then have tried the password they sent me and has come back with the same message. So now my email inbox is full of passwords, not impressed. RE: Anything and Everything - Jimmi - 04 Jan 2015 ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! removed the app from my phone downloaded it again and it is still fucking coming up with password must be changed for security reasons. I GIVE UP! If you have read the annoying thread you will know that nothing ever works for me, wether it be my mobile not connecting to WiFi networks, shutter on my Sony camera not opening and despite the amount of care I give to my electronics things braking after a short amount of time. Think I should go live in Amish country. Also I don't have Facebook, don't really know why. |
