Stagecoach Sunderland is the same.
I'm on the 16 and doesn't even look like its been cleaned, floors are sticky as out and the seats are full of crumbs.
Shame, its like they don't care anymore.

Re cleaning on the buses
Is it time that we get the good old smell of Jayes Fluid out on the buses...
Used to remember as a kid smelling it all over when people cleaned there back yards etc and I think I used to smell it on the buses too!
Least it had a clean smell appearance

I did hear from a driver that he thinks when alpha towed it away, that was the end of it. Strange if that's the case it's only 12yrs old.anyone else have anything on it thank you

Even if its 12 years old, it has a 5 year gap to the 2019 Models and it was a previous Demonstrator.
I still wish to this day they never did the Red Kite swap. The 4x 2015 Gemini 2s to East Yorkshire and in Return we got 6334-7 (2 B5TLs & 2 400MMCs).
The X5/X15 could of had a decent allocation without problems if they got the treatment that East Yorkshire gave to B9s.

Just because Alpha towed it, doesn't mean it's gone to the scrap yard. Chances are it might have been towed to a specialist engine repair centre for repairs somewhere else in the UK.

IMO, GNE would be better swapping 6308-14 with EY's 7x dealer stock B9TLs including GNE's original 6118-21 - they'd actually be fine to use in the clean air zone.
6308-14 are absolute basketcases and should never have been bought! S**** on the X9/X10, s**** on the X21. The Daimler StreetDecks as bad as they are, are even better than them and that's saying something! Think the only use for them would be something easy like the 27 or the 307!

5500 was tracking today according to bus times or at least the ticket machine was.
I know at least one of them is on the back fence near costco

Passed 5500 on Spilt Crow Road around half 5, either on 52 or 67z.

At 1035 today I passed what looked like a Tyne Valley 10 livery vehicle at a stand, hazards activated, on the A692 Leadgate Bypass between the Durham Road and Villa Real roundabouts, facing in the Consett direction. Not in service, it's a non GNE route. I was driving in the opposite direction so was unable to catch the fleet number. but it looked like a 62 reg.

likely 6077, been based at Consett for a few weeks now and only seems to get onto the scholars services.

Wow the X10 suffered badly today.
6354 died on its first journey near Billingham. Replaced by 6100 which last till 15.14 journey and died at Peterlee where it was then replaced by 6224
6353 died in Middlesbrough being replaced by 6156 which was swapped out at Gateshead for 6323
6357 lasted till Newcastle at 5pm where it was swapped with 6350

Surely the X10 has to be looked at for new purchases. They haven't had anything bought new for the route since the B5TLs in 2017.

surprisred 6193 didnt end up doing a few trips, best bus for the job!

I think they made an odd appearance on the X10 but it must of been for the X21 looking at Bustimes.
Needs much newer ADLs that seem to be more popular on Arrivas long routes
