Understand it's to be an increased frequency for the school holidays - all day between Whitby and Scarborough but only morning and afternoon between Middlesbrough and Whitby as now.

Yes. Up until this service change it has been every 30 minutes during the summer season.

X12: All Evening journeys withdrawn. The route between Middlesbrough and Stockton is revised - no longer serving the University Campus, journeys now follow the same route as the X22/X66/X67. Last departures are as followed;
From Middlesbrough: 2010 Monday-Saturday, 1810 Sunday
From Durham to Newcastle: 1910 Monday to Friday, 1900 Saturday
From Durham to Middlesbrough: 2020 Monday to Saturday, 1920 Sunday
From Newcastle: 1920 (to Middlesbrough) and 2020 (to Durham) Monday to Saturday
7/7a: Sunday timetable changes - extra time added to the daytime journeys between 1100 and 1700.
