Good to know that the 67/69 didn't have a destination board either and ran using the good old paper dest in the window

Double deckers on the 67 and 69 seems overkill but the state of Riverside might mean they are the only functioning buses they have…

Apparently the buses used today didn't even have the destinations for the 67/69 programmed.
How are they incapable of getting even the basics right?

Unless GNE are using the bait room in Stanley, 5 hours on the X30/X31/X32 is pushing it and the only efficient driving time GNE would get without pushing it is around 3hr20m. Not forgetting the cost & time of transporting drivers from Hownsgill to Stanley.

Enviro 200mmc seem to be allocated to the Xlines services, whilst the 6 seems to have adopted a few deckers including all the Ex yorkshire ones.

Wouldn't have that problem having to allocate singles if the X32 was increased to 2x per hour (with X31 dropped), Lobley Hill Estate swapped with the X70, and X45 re-joined into the interworking pattern. Only the X30 & X71 would require a low height decker (PVR 4).
X45 > X73 > X32 > X45 (PVR 4.5)
X45 > X32 > X73 > X45 (PVR 4.5)
X70 > X32 > X32 > X70 (PVR 4)
X71 > X30 > X30 > X71 (PVR 4)
Yes an extra bus in the PVR but driving hours & reliefs far more efficient.
Although it would give the option should GNE need it (i.e X9 re-introduced), it wouldn't necessarily mean E400MMC's leaving Consett. If anything, would give a hell of a lot flexibility covering VOR's.
