RE: Vehicle Cascade 2026 - X919 WGR - 25 Mar 2026 (25 Mar 2026, 8:14 pm)WestDurhamSwift wrote 6950 is the last remaining Dual Door Enviro in service (hexham) Might be worth swapping out the seats from the Ex GNW Geminis onto 6149-6161 batch of Gem 2's. or at least try on one of them. Would be a nice upgrade to them given that they are spare vehicles around Gateshead now. RE: Vehicle Cascade 2026 - ouston man - 31 Mar 2026 A washington driver mentioned to me that 6367-68 will remain at washington along with 6375-76 when roadworthy again till new vehicles are sourced later in the year. Seems feasible if they're adding route changes to the x1 RE: Vehicle Cascade 2026 - WestDurhamSwift - 31 Mar 2026 6074 is parked up at Hownsgill, imagine its for maintiance RE: Vehicle Cascade 2026 - Malarkey - 31 Mar 2026 (31 Mar 2026, 8:09 am)ouston man wrote A washington driver mentioned to me that 6367-68 will remain at washington along with 6375-76 when roadworthy again till new vehicles are sourced later in the year. RE: Vehicle Cascade 2026 - deanmachine - 01 Apr 2026 To be fair, with PM getting electrics it's not like they're missing out on getting better buses. I think the B9s would be nice on the 301 if they want to upgrade it back to double deck. Probably end up getting some Streetdecks from Oxford or somewhere, wouldn't be surprised if it's fully electric before long down there tbh. To be fair, they've had pretty sheltered lives pottering around the doors, compared to other native GNE examples. GNE could easily get 20 years frontline service out of these on the likes of the 301, given they're considered heavy duty. RE: Vehicle Cascade 2026 - WestDurhamSwift - 02 Apr 2026 5488 has lost its Supershuttle branding, retains the base livery and GNE logo. Would argue it looks better than the actual fleet livery. Glad the Consett depot have been quick to remove the branding when they can. There wasn't anything super about the Stanley routes

My wife pointed it out the other week when the first came over and stated 'I love that bus, looks very nostolgic, why don't they all look like that' Has Zero interest in buses, but litreally the only time shes ever noticed what a bus looks like. RE: Vehicle Cascade 2026 - X919 WGR - 03 Apr 2026 (03 Apr 2026, 7:17 am)WestDurhamSwift wrote My wife pointed it out the other week when the first came over and stated 'I love that bus, looks very nostolgic, why don't they all look like that' I think its the colours and the font of the supershuttle logo that gives it a nice retro feel. It was a nice one off Throwback livery in a modern style. If GNE didn't go red I would of loved some of the much older Fleet Livery/Sub Branding looks to come back like the SuperRoute. Was basic but still very nice. I liked the idea of when Voyager was revived for the spare vehicles that would of been on Rail Rep but obviously most of the buses in that livery just never did Rail Reps or Metro Replacements soon after. RE: Vehicle Cascade 2026 - Andreos1 - 09 Apr 2026 New arrivals at Hull. https://www.facebook.com/share/1DjmueN8k1/ East Yorkshire Buses fleet update... Interesting considering they've just withdrawn and sold there Volvo B9TL Enviro 400's which are of the same age and given there EV's are going to be entering services in next few weeks which will release 27 Buses off of services 56, 57 and 58. I would mostly image these becoming eventual spare part vehicles. I could probably see these being a backup incase anything were to go wrong with these EV's or even if absolutely needed on the West Yorkshire network RE: Vehicle Cascade 2026 - TEN 6083 - 24 Apr 2026 Is this true or are they making things up? Also because of everything becoming brandless, I don't see the point. It's just like what Washington has with their 16' Plate Streetdecks and Daimler Streetlites, they are just on anything RE: Vehicle Cascade 2026 - Retro Nero - 26 Apr 2026 6048 currently on loan to Sunderland on emergency contract for 701 which commences tomorrow RE: Vehicle Cascade 2026 - Michael - 26 Apr 2026 (Yesterday, 9:56 am)Retro Nero wrote 6048 currently on loan to Sunderland on emergency contract for 701 which commences tomorrow Anything else been moved over? You'd be able to see it from the A1231. |
