They also operated under other names including First Choice Travel, as is often the case with these types of companies. If I remember right the directors involved were banned from operating another company otherwise I'm sure there would be a re-incarnation somewhere! Rush Travel are a good example of that, then became A-Coach and now KJS Travel. I can remember First Choice from Metro Replacements too - they had a Kingsley's Metrobus for a while, I think? RE: Anything and Everything :) - Andreos1 - 05 Sep 2013 Wow, either Ken has a thing for wedding dresses (who wouldn't ) or he is tapping up a recently married woman. https://www.facebook.com/215880875709/timeline/story?ut=44&hash=7984044619348671458&wstart=0&wend=1380610799&pagefilter=2&ustart&refid=17 Ken Kennedy - the dirty dog! My goodness! Probably both! RE: Anything and Everything :) - Andreos1 - 05 Sep 2013 Ken seems to be quite a hit with the ladies! Just looking at the comments on the GNE page and some wifey is liking each and everyone of his comments haha. Go on Ken! RE: Anything and Everything :) - Adrian - 05 Sep 2013 Laura Cranstonposted toGo North East It appears Ian has a new response. I've seen him come out with it a couple of times now. Good old Ken and Leyland put him in his place - Leyland has shot him down a few times after picking up on it. RE: Anything and Everything :) - MurdnunoC - 06 Sep 2013 Looks like our good pal is starting to get a little miffed with all the negativity he's receiving at the minute. https://www.facebook.com/simplyGNE/posts/10153198603525710 https://www.facebook.com/simplyGNE/posts/10153197909530710 Still, one good thank you outweighs ten negative responses. Lets not lose sight of the reason of why he does what he does. RE: Anything and Everything :) - Andreos1 - 06 Sep 2013 Clifton Hignett is real!! He has been posting on the GNE page! "Neb Dan" is my only account, which I haven't logged into since Ant de-activated his account... RE: Anything and Everything :) - Adam - 06 Sep 2013 I see Mr Clifford now thinks he's the new travel reporter for the local radio. "TRAVEL: As people leave the office early to head home for the weekend traffic is beginning to build up in the region and remember to take care in the rain and watch out for surface water Tyne and Wear Very slow traffic on A1 Western Bypass northbound between Metro Centre in Gateshead and Kenton Bar Roundabout Very slow traffic on A1 Western Bypass southbound between Hexham Turn Off in Blaydon and Coalhouse Roundabout Very slow traffic on A1231 Sunderland Highway eastbound in Washington between Nissan Roundabout A1231 Wessington Way in Sunderland busy but moving between the A1290 Queens Road junction and the A19 junction County Durham A690 Alexandria Crescent / Sutton Street in Durham busy but moving northbound between the North Road Roundabout". One question springs to mind; Why?! RE: Anything and Everything :) - Dan - 06 Sep 2013 (06 Sep 2013, 6:25 pm)Adam wrote I see Mr Clifford now thinks he's the new travel reporter for the local radio. Though I'd have the sense to look on a traffic report for the area I am in, others may not. I think that is probably more helpful than what Ian offers. At least potential passengers know that their service could be late as a result of the traffic conditions in an area. RE: Anything and Everything :) - MurdnunoC - 06 Sep 2013 It's his new gimmick. He needs to differentiate his persona from Ian's so he's taken on the mantle of Andy "Crash" Clifford: Your Resident Traffic Update Guy! - It complements Ian's traffic guru gimmick so perfectly. I smell money! RE: Anything and Everything :) - gtom - 06 Sep 2013 Oh dear god, Tony Clifton pic is in use RE: Anything and Everything :) - BJ10VUS - 06 Sep 2013 Oh, Ken! "I feel sorry for the nice drivers you come into contact with. Especially the cute lass that drives the 58." RE: Anything and Everything :) - Andreos1 - 06 Sep 2013 Ant Nightie is back and has Daniels avatar as his profile pic... Loving the banter on there with Clifton, Ant and Ken 'the randy perv' Kennedy. Wish they would unmask themselves. Ken is trying it on with Andrea Louise Watson - a post or two down. Andrea Louise Watson I'm trying to plan my Daughters college journey from Peterlee to Gateshead College. I don't know whether it will work out better for her to get a keycard or a get around day ticket, as she'll need to get 2 buses. The X10 to Gateshead Metro Interchange and then the Q1 from there to the college. Which option will be best and what are the prices for returns? One last question, could a X9 return be used on an X10 bus or are returns only for use on same exact bus and route. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, confused Mum. Like · · 2 hours ago Emma Blackett Storey likes this. Ian Hignett She will need to have a get-around key card to get the get-around ticket anyway. Has she had a key card before and has it expired? about an hour ago · Like Andrea Louise Watson I've got her a key card just the other day but haven't topped it up yet. about an hour ago · Like Ian Hignett OK, If she is under 18 she will qualify for reduced price single tickets at peak times and 90p singles off-peak, however, having said that the 90p singles are not available on X9/X10, I think the reduced rate is £2.20 single. She would still be entitled to the Get-around day ticket at £3.65 which will cover the X10 and Q1. If she is over 18 and it is a student get-around card she will still be entitled to the £3.65 day ticket (and all other tickets available) but not 90p singles. about an hour ago · Like Andrea Louise Watson Thanks a lot for that about an hour ago · Like · 1 Ken Kennedy Monthly Get Around priced at £58 would save you the most money Andrea. 55 minutes ago · Like · 1 Emma Blackett Storey Andrea you're such a good mummy! I would like to make a suggestion about this wall and the Meerkat man known to many on here. Ian Hignett with his short stern replies IS NOT A CUSTOMER SERVICE PROFESSIONAL! He's a bus spotter. Is this the image you want for your company? He is rude and dismissive. It is not a good image for a big multi national company to have. This forum should be closed out of hours so people can't abuse it. Either that or I suggest you put Ian Hignett on a training course and pay the bloke a wage and get him in line Thank You Like · Comment · 2 minutes ago Ant, telling it like it is... RE: Anything and Everything :) - Adrian - 06 Sep 2013 I'd love to know who's doing this, as they're clearly reading our board and the gripes against the way GNE let Hignett, Clifford and co run wild. The funny thing is that GNE won't be able to ban them, as they're doing what they're doing, but certainly not over stepping the mark. How could they justify banning them but not Hignett and Clifford?
