Quite a good move to get more passengers on-board, to be perfectly honest it would be easier running some 64s down to Brasside with Sunday journeys aswell.

Brasside doesn't really justify a high frequency considering the low numbers in passengers, when the 63/64 went up there every 10 minutes it was dead most of the time between Arnison Centre and Brasside.
61 only picks up a small handful of passenger as well.

Can the extended 62 route and the 61 both be done within the hour? I know it's not much further, but if it picks up more passengers, as a result, that could slow it down, somewhat.

Yeah, there's certain times of day when I can see it being held up in certain places, even if by just a few minutes, and there's not enough slack for it to be able to self correct easily. It's also not as if it wouldn't be missed, if it was regulated, as there may not be many passengers in Brasside or Whitesmocks but for those that it does have, it's their only bus. (And of course, that's a self perpetuating issue because that will be the reason that people don't bother with it. It's certainly one of the reasons we didn't bother looking at houses in Brasside when we moved and the same would have applied to Whitesmocks and the surrounding areas, if we could have afforded a house there!)
