RE: Go North East: Service Suggestions - BusLoverMum - 30 Jan 2016 (29 Jan 2016, 11:45 pm)Jimmi wrote Parts of the 58 is still needed, although you could possibly change the 58 to run to Peterlee after Wheatley Hill which would save one bus on that service, although if this was to be done it would probably cost more for Durham County Council to subsidise two different services and Wingate and Station Town would lose their service to Durham. As would quarrington hill RE: Go North East: Service Suggestions - biglugs@yahoo.com - 31 Jan 2016 How about this 35 low moorsley normal route to Sunderland then southwick witherwack downhill boldon asda cinema Every 30 mins 36a same as 35a at the minute 36 Chester le St -hougton normal route to Sunderland southwick-casletown- town end farm from Sunderland to Chester le street every 30 mins then 2 trips in a hour Sunderland to town end farm. 99 kept normal. Bonkers. He wants a new service to be numbered 1 which goes nowhere near Newcastle/Gateshead from North Shields... but also extending the '1' to Blyth. Confusion with the Arriva 1? Both blue buses... I see the demand for Blyth-Jarrow like. No harm done. You can't control biglugs. It's like trying to herd flies or something. Seasonal and hourly just to connect people to Beamish RE: Go North East: Service Suggestions - Jimmi - 03 Feb 2016 (03 Feb 2016, 8:15 pm)biglugs@yahoo.com wrote Seasonal and hourly just to connect people to Beamish Don't see the point in running to New Brancepeth on a hourly seasonal service as there isn't exactly anything at New Brancepeth for people to visit and anyone living in New Brancepeth would probably just use the all year round and more frequent Arriva 48. |
