Seems a bit pointless then if it’s one journey a day each day and only for part of the week so of course it’s not likely to be well used. No point using it since visiting hours are not till 2 and if you have an afternoon appointment you not going to get it at 9:30 to just sit about. It needs to really be 7 days a week and at the very least an hourly service up until 8:10PM departure from North Tees for anyone visiting.

Wouldn't it be better off just using Tees Flex to cover that area.

if you note the days it's operating and the times, you will understand the full details - it's basically using the driver and bus that presently on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays basically does just an afternoon school run due to the different finishing times for Stockton's school workings, while Saturdays it'll be an extra short duty for someone. It's TVCA-supported as part of a scheme to trial and expand the network and identify areas that could do with links like this. Completely agree with this - another example of what's wrong with our system, public money spent to fit the operational convenience of a private operator, not the actual needs of the public.
I suspect we'll see this withdrawn due to low usage once the inital money has been wasted. It's mad that the funder would buy for a second the idea that there is potentially sufficient demand for a service one journey each way on four random days of the week, to somehow be sustainable. Yet no need other days or times. Truly bizarre.

Can now confirm it is at the request of the councillors for Port Clarence - requesting a bus from there into Billingham. The private aspect is that Stagecoach can only currently provide an additional vehicle on those days of the week fitting round existing contracts.

It’s not so much ‘Stagecoach can’t commit’ it’s that there is no money at present to fund it - the local councillor’s have raised the funds through projects with Stockton Council to fund it as a trial. Bearing in mind most usage will be Port Clarence to Billingham the timetable works for most shopping trips and is able to slot into current schedules efficiently!

The Middlesbrough to Lingfield Park service was originally the 11 via Linthorpe and Acklam until the 10 was introduced in the 2014 network recast. From then until August 2017, the two routes ran every half hour each (every 15 combined) at which point the 11 was withdrawn. The registration has remained the same since - so while there is no service 11, the registration still is for a service 11.

10: Monday to Sunday service. Most journeys retimed to operate 10 minutes earlier throughout.
12: Monday to Sunday service. Additional running time added during Monday to Friday AM and PM peak times to provide greater reliability due to prevailing traffic conditions. No change at weekends other than a minor retime of a small number of Saturday afternoon journeys.
14: Most daytime journeys to operate 10 minutes earlier throughout. Evenings and Sundays unchanged.
34: Most daytime journeys to operate 10 minutes earlier throughout (as operationally linked with 10/39) .
35: School time peak time journeys retimed and may operate slightly earlier or later, with some consequential changes
39: Monday to Sunday service. Most daytime journeys to operate 10 minutes earlier throughout (as operationally linked with 10/34) . Evenings and Sundays unchanged.
59: Monday to Sunday regular service. Additional running time added during peak times to provide greater reliability due to prevailing traffic conditions.
X40/X41: X40 journeys to no longer operate via Wynyard Woods (X41 journeys still to operate via Wynyard Woods albeit hourly), X41 journeys to no longer operate via Meadows. (X40 journeys still to operate via Meadows hourly). Peak time journey time adjustments.
RP1: Monday to Saturday service. In order to improve reliability, some peak time journeys a retimed to greater reflect busy traffic conditions in central Middlesbrough and may operate slightly earlier or later. Daytime journeys remain unchanged.
UTCA: At the request of the UTC, service UTCA to no longer operate via Heighington. Subsequent timing changes.
UTCG: Monday to Friday service. To improve reliability additional running time added to pm trips.
58: Small number of journeys now terminate at Royal Oak and operationally linked with service 6.
6/6B (Stockton to Darlington): Revised timetable. Peak time journeys adjusted, and daytime journeys stepped back slightly . New evening service Middleton St George to Darlington and extra daytime Sunday trips.
6/6A/6B (Darlington to Hurworth): Revised timetable. Peak time journeys adjusted, and daytime journeys stepped back slightly . New evening service and extra Sunday trips
1: Monday to Sunday service. Monday to Friday 0612 from High Tunstall to Middlesbrough will depart High Tunstall at 0607 and then operate 5 minutes earlier throughout.
980 is withdrawn, leaving just the 2 20 journeys on that registration

Cancelled expecting the funding to be cut - but has now been re-registered on a new registration due to the funding being extended to the summer.
