KLM - NK53 TKT - 05 Jul 2016 Unusually a Fokker 70 operated into Newcastle this lunchtime in place of an embraer 190 RE: KLM - Andreos1 - 05 Jul 2016 It doesn't seem two minutes since the Fokker 100 was a standard fixture between Schipoll and Newcastle. I think some (if not all) were with Air UK plying th3 route in competition to KLM, prior to the KLM takeover. It makes me laugh as I believe an embraer 190 flew into Teeside today, they are the Arriva of the skies for allocating planes RE: KLM - park5354 - 06 Jul 2016 (05 Jul 2016, 1:35 pm)NK53 TKT wrote Unusually a Fokker 70 operated into Newcastle this lunchtime in place of an embraer 190

I don't think AirUK ever competed with KLM. At some stage, KLM took AirUK over and brancded them KLM UK. All the Fokker 100s have gone now - pity as they always seemed that little bit faster than 737s when I flew MAN-AMS. |
