That is correct, it can only be 1775, 1792, 1800 or 1801 allocated.

It's a shame Arriva Darlington couldn't come up with something as creative as this for 1513 and 4649.Rolleyes

Looking smart. Though for an official facebook page it's a terrible photo.

Probably just wanted to get a good enough shot of the logo and places served I'd imagine. Hopefully if they do anymore promotion for the service they'll use some better photos, ideally them in service.

Had an awful ride on 1441 today. It seemed to dislike lower speed and changing up to gears, it really struggled and made awful thudding and revving noises. I thought it was going to implode on the ride up towards Gateshead Interchange.

Had that one a few weeks ago after I missed the X21.

One of the one's affected by Econospeed unfortunately, Also adding that the engine itself feels like its lost its oomph.
I find the ragged engine note on this one pretty nice to listen too however.

It reminded me of the noise that the old Wright Handybus made that I used to ride on the 709/728.

It's the first one I've really noticed the choking throttle style, you could feel the bus just resisting the urge to hit a decent speed on the A167.

Never got a ride on one of them, But they don't sound good!

Aye, Engine's had it. Econospeed ( The so called fuel saving software, Which restricts the buses gear changes ) does not do the engine any favours either.

Is it common? I use the X12 daily along with the X7/8 and I've never come across econospeed (luck?) unless the econospeed was knackered itself?

The Geminis seem to be able to really give it a good go.

The Econospeed itself will not be knackered, If it was the bus would feature a full working kickdown.

More common on the Durham County examples, Blyth's Pulsar's don't have them from what ive seen so aye your pretty lucky.

I don't know which X12 Pulsar's have it but I know 1441 has it,

The sapphire 24 e400 I caught, this morning, has an econospeed sticker on the dash.

Probably wasn't the brightest idea to replace it with a Solo that only seats 26 passengers, but nevermind.[Image: rolleyes.gif]
