Don't suppose you know how long the Roadworks in this area are expected to last?

EDIT: Never mind, just over heard the depressing answer to that question [emoji35]

EDIT 2: Roadworks at Thinford as well slowing things right down.

7804 back from MAX refurbishment.

RE: Arriva North East: Latest News & Discussion - April 2017 - omnicity4659 - 06 Apr 2017

7506 was returned to Ashington on Sunday morning (I was only notified of its use there the night before), I've asked earlier this week why it was down there and it was at DiagTest, but Durham then decided to use it...

At present all of 7501-9, 7518 and 7522-8 are at Ashington.

Durham did use it for staff transport only though.  It wasn't used in service, due to the lack of a DERIC controller Smile

In other news, an unidentified Interurban-liveried Pulsar was driven to Ashington at about 1430 yesterday, and went straight onto the pits.

7502 has had its tachograph removed.

Imagine it'll be something from Jesmond on its way to Thorntons?

looks like contactless is getting around more depots now. Saw 7602 and 7613 with the readers although 7605 does not have one yet.

Stocktons second repaint will be back from Blackburn on Monday Afternoon. Possibly 1455 as I haven't seen it all week.
