Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - December 2019 - Kuyoyo - 06 Dec 2019 (27 Nov 2019, 1:58 pm)Kuyoyo wrote Steven Knight Media reporting that WN69FYO (and presumably the other new examples reportedly due for Tees Valley DRT) is a Sprinter 516 CDi, rather than the Sprinter City 45 model Stagecoach currently own as 44001-30. He also reports the start date for the DRT as January (rather than the originally expected December). Further examples so far include WN69FYP and WR69ORS. FYO/P were used for a photoshoot as part of their delivery - https://cbwmagazine.com/stagecoach-north-east-to-start-drt-contract-next-month/?fbclid=IwAR0lmboCFnoLoG15w-CwkwMaN5V0k623z2BRf9IoD2JDvsbw6eHSN_gSAp0 As in the photo, the new examples are EVM Cityline examples as per the Go North East examples. The article you linked to, doesn't have too much detail. RE: Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - October 2019 - AIG20 - 06 Dec 2019 Sunderland ADL E300 27740 has been debranded and repainted into corporate livery. I wonder when the new livery(s) will be revealed and start to be rolled out? Really dragging it out. You'd think they'd get on with it. Sadberge & Low Dinsdale, Elwick & west Hartlepool, villages to east of Guisborough/Saltburn (can only guess replacing Redcar council services 752 etc in Liverton, Moorsholm etc?), west Stockton (including Stillington, Carlton etc) RE: Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - October 2019 - stagecoachfan - 09 Dec 2019 44005 (BP16UWT) was outside today - NB a closer look reveals that this has not been repainted (the vinyls have simply been removed from its already silver base colour) Another new one seen was WN69FNO - which unlike the others so far is white rather than silver RE: Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - October 2019 - James101 - 09 Dec 2019 (08 Dec 2019, 4:36 pm)tyresmoke wrote Sadberge & Low Dinsdale, Elwick & west Hartlepool, villages to east of Guisborough/Saltburn (can only guess replacing Redcar council services 752 etc in Liverton, Moorsholm etc?), west Stockton (including Stillington, Carlton etc) I'd be interested to know how it was going to work in each zone. Existing schemes (Arriva Click etc) work wholly within a specified region. I guess with Tees Flex passengers would have to be within one of the listed zones to be eligible for pick up but they will be able to travel to destinations outside the zones? Can't imagine many people want to travel entirely within a rural zone. Wonder how far passengers will be able to travel - inclusive of town centres, train stations, hospitals etc - or just to the nearest interchange with a timetabled service where they'll have to change? RE: Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - October 2019 - Andreos1 - 09 Dec 2019 The more I read of the DRT and the TVCA plans, the more I am convinced that to make the DRT more effective and to fulfil the ambitions of the TVCA, would be for the TVCA to invest (part or fully) in the line beyond Saltburn towards Loftus. Stations in Skelton, Brotton and Loftus - utilising Parkway type facilities, located alongside housing and the main road, with the DRT integrated in to it, would (I think) do wonders in not only reinvigorating East Cleveland, but also taking cars off the roads. The A174 is getting worse and will only continue to get worse, with the new housing that is popping up across the East Cleveland area. I'm sure there's a 'train proposals' thread somewhere. Might look in to it a little further. RE: Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - October 2019 - Cock Robin - 10 Dec 2019 That's assuming the trains actually turn up. RE: Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - October 2019 - AIG20 - 10 Dec 2019 Information from Steven Knight Media - Fleet News Ramblings: Stagecoach North East Sold to Alpha Recovery is former Volvo B10M training bus 20841 whilst now delivered to Walkergate are ADL Enviro 400MMCs 11281-83. Has that got anything to do with the need to find some Tridents at short notice to replace the Olympians in North Bristol? Some older E400s into Gloucester would enable such as cascade. Into Gloucester, to oust stock to the aquired Gloucester Bus & Coach ops - which is needed by the new year with incoming PSVAR changes. RE: Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - October 2019 - pbjd - 12 Dec 2019 Where do you think X34 changeovers took place when ran by Shields depot? And where do you suggest they do them instead as they need to be standalone due to branding? RE: Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - October 2019 - Dans_bus_photos - 12 Dec 2019 Although I agree it would be nice to see the X24/X34 interwork with deckers, out of peak times I dont think the X24 would justify them. I think it is all down to the roadworks at Testo's thats causing the delays rather than being operated from Sunderland, the X34 was fine before the roadworks started. At least Sunderland have more spare vehicles than South Shields, to help combat the late running. RE: Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - October 2019 - Rob57 - 12 Dec 2019 S830OFT send the double deckers back to South Shields where they should have stayed in the first place to do the X34.rob57 RE: Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - October 2019 - slp1976 - 12 Dec 2019 (12 Dec 2019, 4:28 pm)pbjd wrote Where do you think X34 changeovers took place when ran by Shields depot?
