No - in order to increase the mileage on them (now that they've been fitted with the Euro 6 SCRT), services 5 and 50 are being operated by OmniCitys again on Sundays. Subject to review if passenger loadings are such that single-deckers aren't feasible to use.

6043, 6048, 6084 and 6085 have all made appearances on X10s today - 6084/5 stayed out until the end of those particular boards while the other two were replaced by coaches.
More interesting was the use of 5358 on the Middlesbrough to Whitby express rail replacements this afternoon - passed it at Ormesby working the 1552 from Whitby.

More interesting was the use of 5358 on the Middlesbrough to Whitby express rail replacements this afternoon - passed it at Ormesby working the 1552 from Whitby.
A handful of tacho-fitted buses were in use on rail replacement today as there was a commitment for coaches on the LNER work between Newcastle and Edinburgh.
This rail replacement work is also the reason why buses were used on the X10 today (due to a number of coaches being off the road unexpectedly).
