Operation of Metro Replacement contract between 15 & 28 February 2021 - JACK6081 - 07 Feb 2021 Think those east yorkshire deckers arriving will be to help out on metro replacement from the 14th of febuary 41 buses are being used from riverside so I suspect extra buses will be used/saurced from other depots RE: Go North East: Withdrawn Vehicles & Fleet Disposals - MichealAaron - 07 Feb 2021 So your saying 41 Go North East deckers are going to be running on metro replacement. Im guessing it will be whatever is free RE: Go North East: Withdrawn Vehicles & Fleet Disposals - Malarkey - 08 Feb 2021 (07 Feb 2021, 9:08 pm)MichealAaron wrote So your saying 41 Go North East deckers are going to be running on metro replacement. RE: Go North East: Withdrawn Vehicles & Fleet Disposals - Rapidsnap - 08 Feb 2021 41 seems to be a bit too many buses. Probably around 20-25 be needed I think. More than enough double-decks around to be able to cover the job, even without any buses from East Yorkshire. RE: Operation of Metro Replacement contract between 15 & 28 February 2021 - Rapidsnap - 21 Feb 2021 Amazed they aren't using the DFDS deckers since they're sat around doing nothing. I saw plenty of double deckers going through the city centre, all of which had the total of zero passengers on them. Deliberate contingency planning, or a balls up in the procurement documents? The former, Metro finished on Sunday rather on Monday. Registered with the TC so cannot be changed short notice. Bureaucracy from the government at the government's expense! |
