Hundreds of thousands of pounds spent on paint, vinyls, consultants, time spent in meetings, fuel to get to and from outsourced bodyshops and coachworks, labour, contractors etc Vs what sort of return? What sort of tangible evidence can prove any increase is because of a paint job or down to external factors relating to the weather, economy or events organised by 3rd parties? Wasn’t the 555 the ferry replacement service between South Shields and North Shields via Tyne tunnel when the ferry was not in use?
