Coaster 1 - V514DFT - 25 Oct 2022
From 24/10/2022 Coaster 1 is unable to serve Spring Gardens and Nile Street, buses are diverting via Coach Lane, Prudhoe Street and Borough Road, observing a temporary set down only bus stop on Railway Terrace, if you wish to board, you can only do so at Bedford Street (affects Coaster 1 to Whitley Bay only)

Is the Coaster 1 getting different buses soon or was that a false rumour? What could they put on instead of the StreetLites?

Wasn’t the 1 given Streetlites to make it CAZ compliant?

Well, the Versas on the 35 are Euro 6, you could swap them with the Coasters and put the berries on 35, the coasters on 2/2a. However, I rather have a Versa than a Coaster.
