I think GNE needs something bigger for the X66 or increase the frequency the latter they're in no place to do, however every times I've been on it its been rammed, today it was an absolute nightmare, thankfully someone at GNE realised and upgraded them to Deckers (TVT, E400 & G2 06 Plate I think).
Also GNE must be making bank off the X66 its a £3.80 return (which is quite expensive for a 10 min journey)

They did have 6354 allocated last week to which I thought they were allocating a decker to one board due to run up to xmas as I'd seen an Omnidekka one day the week beforehand, I would certainly say the X66 for example Xmas Eve/Boxing Day would benefit from allocation of Double Deckers with perhaps an additional board but probably to late to finalise a plan for that. Plus plenty of Deckers spare with Schools now being off till the New Year.

Isn't the X66 always allocated a decker on Boxing Day anyway?

How many of those £3.80s are cash fares though? Whenever I’ve used it the majority have been day or period tickets.

Exactly this. I can't see it being too much of a money spinner.
The majority will be connecting to/from another service.
