Trivia: Most Vehicle Types In a Village - Storx - 12 Jan 2023 Earlier on today seen a Versa on the 19 today, never seen one before, and it got it thinking we must have had the most different types of buses running through for a place under 10k in population (Seaton Delaval). Just for example today we've had: Enviro 400 (57/57A/X7) Enviro 400 MMC (57/57A) Solo (57/57A) Solo SR (19) Streetlite (57/57A) Versa (19) DAF DB300 Wright Gemini 2 (X7) Wright Pulsar (X7) Bluebird Orion (58) Not to mention all these in the past year aswell: Enviro 200 MMC Wright Commander Wright Cadet Volvo B7TL ALX400 DAF DB250 Wright Gemini MPD Anywhere beat it or come close? Can only imagine it being down the Durham area with the bad allocations with Arriva Durham. Whose was the DB250? Just for example today we've had: Ferryhill had the following types appear on at least one journey of the services that pass through on Wednesday (assuming BusTimes is correct): VDL SB200 / Wright Pulsar 2 VDL SB120 / Plaxton Centro Wright StreetLite MAN 18.270 EcoCity / Caetano City Gold Optare Solo Enviro 200MMC Enviro 200 Enviro 400 Volvo B7TL / Alexander ALX400 Volvo B7TL / Wright Eclipse Gemini All of the above were just from Arriva, although Hodgsons 113 will have likely been a Solo, E200 or E200MMC as well but a Solo SR is also possible. Will be more types if school contracts were added into the equation, but I can't confirm these. My mistake with DB250, meant the B7's - the DAF's went earlier on. Yeah the Centro definitely was actually, forgot about that. Plus there's Weardale running the 9 and 85 and Hodgsons (I believe) running the 104, so there's usually a mix of Solos and the like running those RE: Trivia: Most Vehicle Types In a Village - Jimmi - 13 Jan 2023 (13 Jan 2023, 7:50 pm)Storx wrote My mistake with DB250, meant the B7's - the DAF's went earlier on. Yeah the Centro definitely was actually, forgot about that.Areas in County Durham that have the highest types does seem to be where Arriva have routes operated by both Darlington & Belmont depots. How many types to see vary by day on the allocations and some are inflated by just one run/round trip that spends the remainder of the day on other routes, for today at least Tindle Crescent had a pretty mediocre turnout on the 6 & X21 during the daytime today with vast majority of 6 being Pulsar's and 7417 and X21 was mostly B5TLs and StreetDeck's (B9's appeared but didn't head that far south): Tindle Crescent today: VDL SB200 / Wright Pulsar 2 Wright StreetLite DF MAN 18.270 EcoCity / Caetano City Gold Optare Solo Optare Solo SR Enviro 200MMC Enviro 400 Volvo B7TL / Alexander ALX400 Wright StreetDeck Volvo B5TL / Wright Eclipse Gemini 3 Scania OmniLink* * 762 tracked on an early morning 6 that Darlington seemingly run (on a 7 board) however I'm not totally convinced this was the actual bus allocated. Although technically classed as a town with a population of just over 10k, Crook can boast a pretty varied selection, especially on weekdays from Arriva & Weardale... Crook today: VDL SB200 / Wright Pulsar 2 Wright StreetLite DF MAN 18.270 EcoCity / Caetano City Gold Enviro 200MMC Enviro 400 Volvo B7TL / Alexander ALX400 Optare Solo Optare Solo SR Optare MetroCity Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Ilesbus i-City Scania Omnicity (double deck) RE: Trivia: Most Vehicle Types In a Village - col87 - 20 Jan 2023 If you go back to about 1995 / 1996 / 1997 then Hartlepool had.
