'Trojan Bus' - Adtrainsam - 27 Feb 2024

Saw this pop up last night on ITV news - an interesting concept featuring the Interchange at South Shields and tackling anti-social behaviour. A decent video to watch as well.

Bus featured seems to be SNE's 28026 on the E1. I wonder if this was used as a 'stunt bus' specifically for the police and the news report? Hasn't tracked on the evening Es for a while unless anyone knows better.

If this is successful - we might see more of this especially in ASB hotspots.

Isn't the point that the bus isn't actually in service but is basically a big unmarked police van?  Not sure why it is any better/different than plainclothes officers in unmarked cars.

the TSO driving and the quite obvious police officers on board are usually a giveaway

Apparently the kids of South Shields aren't that smart.
