'Trojan Bus' - Adtrainsam - 27 Feb 2024 Saw this pop up last night on ITV news - an interesting concept featuring the Interchange at South Shields and tackling anti-social behaviour. A decent video to watch as well. www.itv.com/news/tyne-tees/2024-02-26/the-trojan-bus-being-used-to-target-anti-social-behaviour Bus featured seems to be SNE's 28026 on the E1. I wonder if this was used as a 'stunt bus' specifically for the police and the news report? Hasn't tracked on the evening Es for a while unless anyone knows better. If this is successful - we might see more of this especially in ASB hotspots. A decent video to watch as well. Isn't the point that the bus isn't actually in service but is basically a big unmarked police van? Not sure why it is any better/different than plainclothes officers in unmarked cars.
