Stockton Depot - Mike_98 - 27 Apr 2024

Tried looking for a thread for the stockton depot but couldn't find one so here we are.

Anyone know what is the SP SN (Spare Stockton Ticket machine) today on the 7?

Yep it was. Also seen 1454 has been de-branded on the door side. Unsure on the opposite side as I didn't get to look at the time. Buses are slowly being de-branded which I'm surprised they are doing, unless they are all going to be getting a Journey Mark upgrade in the future. There would be no point in removing the branding if that isn't the case. Would be a waste of time. Something must be planned in the coming months / year.

They're debranding ahead of the takeover.

Streetlite 1587 passed my house about half an hour ago, wonder if it's a loan?

RE: Stockton Depot - Mike_98 - 16 May 2024

I went on 1484 today on the 5 and it was soo bad. It did have full capacity to be fair, but it was soo sluggish. Went at crawling pace up Ormesby Bank. Surprised to see an Eco Plate perform that bad. Then again, it is 13 years old.

That one was slow when I was there 8/9 years ago [emoji23]
I followed Redcar’s 1449 up Yearby bank the other day and it managed about 12mph all the way, down to 8 at the top.

Must be one of the dodgy ones of the batch. Dunno why they would allocate it to the 5.
That's also surprising with 1449 as I was on it around a 2 months ago on the X4 and it tanked up the hills. Must have had some serious issues since then.

Edit: Funny thing is that it ain't in service today aswell.

RE: Stockton Depot - Mike_98 - 01 Nov 2024

Anyone know why the buses which are serving the 8 are all now tracking as S8 ??

RE: Stockton Depot - Ryland - 02 Nov 2024

8 is now tracking as s8 on bus tracker. Is this because of Darlington also having a service 8

Redcar  aren't losing 1429 to Stockton that's what's on Facebook is 100%incorrect  just Bus spotters making up romers

RE: Stockton Depot - Mike_98 - 10 Dec 2024

Redcar's 1438 is currently serving Stockton's 29 Service today. I can confirm the tracking is real as I saw it at 8:45 this morning running about 10 minutes late. I imagine this is temporary?

Anyone know what has happened to 1430 ? Has it gone back to Durham, does anybody know? Haven't seen it for ages.

RE: Stockton Depot - Mike_98 - 19 Dec 2024

1457 Dual Tracking today on the 5 and 5A. I can confirm its 1458 which is on the 5A and I would imagine 1457 is on the 5.

It’s a Stockton driver driving it actually

It's only on loan soon to be back where it belongs

RE: Stockton Depot - Ryland - 02 Feb 2025

Fleet swap all completed today

RE: Stockton Depot - Storx - 03 Feb 2025

Does anyone know how many are actually due? I know it was mentioned 30 but the fleet numbering suggests theres at least 31 coming unless there's been a cockup with the numbering.

40 due in total - 1370-1399.
Stockton now have 1379-85/88/9 with NW 3029 currently unknown as to which fleet number it will be as one of the originally intended examples for Stockton remains with NW&W (3027 - which was due to be 1386 - as 3006/1379 is one of the remaining batch of 10 for Redcar).

Must be still 30. Sorry think I've dragged you into my stupidity this morning. Just noticed now that 100 - 79 = 21 not 31.

Guessing it's going to be:
1370-79/97/98/99/1404: Redcar
1380-1389: Stockton
1390-1394: Ashington
1395/1396: Darlington

I don't know Redcar's fleet but guess they have a few spares lying around as they seem to be getting less replacements than the 25 Temsa's which are going out, including the Evora's.
