It's been a long time since this was proposed and it appears to have evolved with the times but this is a positive step.

For those interested, the Bus Services (No. 2) Bill has made it to Committee stage in the Commons: https://bills.parliament.uk/bills/3910

It can be quite hard to follow at this stage, as it's quite technical in the line-by-line scrutiny, but you can watch the sessions live:
You can view the amendments they're debating here: https://bills.parliament.uk/bills/3910/stages/19966/amendments

Legislation isn't the most interesting of subjects, but to note that the final stages were complete on 13th. Current version is: https://bills.parliament.uk/publications/62685/documents/7061

All that is left now is Royal Assent, then it becomes law. I'm sure Charlie will sort that out, once he's finished with embarrassing siblings.

Some explanation of what the bill covers here. Interesting to see an early focus on floating bus stops like that awful one in Seaburn.
