The Dalesbus is starting from Middlsbrough this year which is a good move.

No sign of anything from Arriva then. Surprised Leven Valley don't step in, as they used to do it. Might need a bigger bus going by loadings last year, unless they can use the Lothian Darts!

Arriva aren't doing anything - the suggestion of running a Middlesbrough-Flamingoland service wasn't taken too kindly by management owing to past experiences from a few years ago.

It will be interesting to see what East Yorkshire plan to use on that. All one service suggests it will be on EU so I wonder whether the coaching arm will operate it and market it as a day excursion? Wouldn't mind a run on the Prisma!

Moorsbus met its demise because it couldn't sustain its viability in much the same as the present commercial operators don't want to know. Granted the loadings on the times I used it were high it wasn't covering it!s costs as it was full of Concessionary Pass users! A shame that we lost a most useful resource.
