Grand National - Adrian - 04 Apr 2014 Anyone bother with the National? I'm not a fan of horse racing at all, but always end up putting a few quid on each year, not to mention the usual office sweepstakes. Skybet and a few others are offering payout on first five places, so I've stuck £5 each way on Double Seven, and Long Run. Both are priced at 12/1. RE: Grand National - Andreos1 - 04 Apr 2014 I like horseracing when I win - which used to be quite often. My luck seemed to run out and because of that, I haven't put a bet on for a while. Will have a look in the morning and if anything grabs my fancy, will put a few quid on. Some papers often have a free bet voucher, so will use that too. RE: Grand National - Adrian - 05 Apr 2014 Well that went down well. I got a third place from Double Seven, so at least it covered the costs of my bets. Re: Grand National - MrFozz - 05 Apr 2014 I must be one of the luckiest punters today... I was supposed to back Tea For Three but cocked up the betting slip...I will never be able to do that again I ended up backing the winner at 20/1 and got Double 7 in third |
